We can rule out any idea that they might have the trolleys in order to preach God's Word as they've been instructed to hide their bibles.

What is the Watchtower's(R) Objective with the APATHY TROLLEY(CART)?
by punkofnice ini wefer to my pwevious fred http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/watchtower/beliefs/280829/2/i-saw-a-trolley-cart-to-you-cousins-in-the-u-s-a.
if the wbt$ is losing money and drones then why so much apathy surrounding the trolley/cart?.
why are they not being more pro-active with this 'urgent, never to be repeated work(tm)?'.

The ministry of Jesus means nothing to them.
Thank you for the recording. It makes it clear that they have set up a different Covenant, one very similar to the Old Covenant. You must obey the Governing Body and the laws that they have set down.
Jesus set us free, the organization tries to ensnare us.

How is the org really run? What goes on behind the scenes?
by Magnum inhow is the org really run?
what goes on behind the scenes?.
i just read an older post on this site that was recently bumped (http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/jw/friends/6600/1/don-adams-biography) the post mentioned the adams brothers don, karl, & joel and how influential they are/were at headquarters.

The Governing Body members are no longer Directors on the WTBTS. The WTBTS controls all the money and assets as well as much more. They are the recognized legal entity by law.
If the WTBTS decided to ignore the Governing Body then the Governing Body would need to sue the WTBTS in order to gain control, if it is at all possible and recognized in the current Charter. The Governing Body members do not have much money to fight the WTBTS.
I am unable to find the current WTBTS Charter. The only one that I can find is the 1945 Charter but there have been a number of changes made to that since then. It would be insightful to know how the Charter currently addresses the authority of the Governing Body.
Does anyone know why the 1945 Charter is readily available but the current charter is not?

"Special campaign activity"
by stuckinarut2 ini am just so amazed at how 'stoopid' the average witness is as they get sucked into the hype of a special campaign work!.
especially amazing is the one about to start in our neck of the world!.
everyone is 'encouaged' (pushed and made to feel guilty if they dont.

it's also much cheaper for the organization to have the sheepies hand out leaflet's rather than magazines.

Most faithful Christians now alive are not members of that faithful steward class. - w2012 12/15
by 00DAD inthis was brought up earlier today on blondie's thread about this article, but it is so significant i thought it warranted it's own discussion.
here in the wt study article for this week is this remarkable statement: .
most faithful christians now alive are not members of that faithful steward class.- w2012 12/15, p. 9, para.

They have gone as far as saying that the R&F are domestics but not yet classed them as part of Israel or being Israelites. This would cause serious problems to them. The R&F would then be required to partake and become part of the New Covenant, who knows, this may be for the future but requires a lot more doctrinal changes.

Memorial to cease?
by Aroq ini heard something about the memorial to cease soon.
not anything to do with jesus returning but rather that the number of folks partaking is increasing and the gb can't explain it since it should be decreasing or staying the same.. has anyone heard of this?

Just this year the Governing Body directed at least one congregation in Africa not to provide the emblems. The excuse was that it was to avoid passing around an infectious disease that was around.

Breaking News :Charity Commission takes Wathtower to Tribunal in Britain
by raymond frantz inbreaking news :charity commission takes watchtower to charity tribunal in britain.
two weeks ago we run an article about the abuse case in moston manchester congregation .it would seem that the coverage from the main local newspaper manchester evening news and two national newspapers has alarmed the charity commission the official regulator for charities in england and wales and now for the first time !
they opened an official investigation on both charities ,the local one ,moston congragation and the central one jehovah's witnesses of britain indicating that in their eyes these two are connected and liable for any misconduct .this is the time for a concentrated campaign from all of us to inform the charity commission why the watchtower should not be a called a charity .the article above has a link for the charity commission complaint page .follow it!.

Another link
provides this information
The commission said it opened a case into the charity in July last year amid concerns about its approach to safeguarding matters.
It said its concerns had been "amplified by recent criminal cases concerning historic incidents of abuse involving individuals who appear to have been connected to Jehovah’s Witnesses congregations and/or the charity".,,,,A statement issued by the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Britain on behalf of it and the Manchester New Moston congregation said the commission’s decision to open statutory inquiries into both charities had been "premature".
The Commission will probably find that it is not appropriate for elders to question children regarding alleged abuses. This is appropriate but it will really stuff the organization up as they will be losing a 'witness' as part of their two witness policy.

Do you agree or disagree with this statement?
by KateWild inonly assertions that can be proven scientifically, empirically or logically should be accepted as true.. kate xx.

It's a funny question, an assertion often has no proof to substantiate it as true, therefore it is possible that there would be no assertion if it could be proven.

The Commission says this about the organization.
The trustees of each of the charities have indicated to the Commission that they intend to challenge the regulator's decisions to open the statutory inquiries in the First-tier Tribunal (Charity). - See more at: http://www.charitycommission.gov.uk/news/charity-commission-investigates-jehovahs-witnesses-charities/#sthash.LtwSRZX8.dpuf
This organization is unable to subject itself to higher authorities as the bible instructs them too. They should consider themselves as being blessed because the Commission will review their policies and provide some common sense approach to it's management and this is free. Instead they act like the bad little boy who denies he did anything wrong.

Unbalanced way of thinking?
by msconcerned inso, one hot beautiful (not a cloud in the sky) kind of summer day, there was an elder who decided to re shingle his house.
this was on the book study day.
he started early and got all the shingles off of the roof in time for the book study that night.

It's hard to believe that nobody put a stop to the meeting due to the safety risk, with water on electrical lines and coming through the roof with a chance of that collapsing as well.
