  oh man....seriously mind numbing.. i can't bring myself to share too much of it all now.... but i just want to get out...... tell you all more soon about the manipulative trash..... .

  Hi Nathanael and welcome. You'll get a lot of advice here but it is unlikely to be from JWs, posters here are mostly ex JWs.

  Sorry to say but I don't think your leaders would like you doing this project at all. Even though you have the best of intentions and think that other JWs would enjoy this greatly. Unfortunately your leaders want you to live in a very restricted and confined manner. You are to be no part of this world JWs are not allowed to live and behave like normal people and operate very much like a cult and It would be interesting to see that replicated on Minecraft.

  Go and ask your Elders or write to the society. You'll probably need to write rather than email or telephone as they don't seem to be capable of dealing with simple questions in a straight forward manner. Besides they will want your name and address and the congregation you attend as they may get your Elders involved to come and lecture you and possibly reprove you if you have started the project. They might not even want you to be involved in Minecraft at all so be very careful if you want to continue with this activity.

  JW.ORG advertising on game/app review program.

  i don't know if any of you have seen the video posted by mike and kim regarding jw.org advertising on a thailand computer game review television show.

  the show is called game show social - i looked at a few of the videos and jw.org is on a lot of them.. at first i thought that it was a review of a jw.org app but when you look at other videos jw.org is on a lot of them as a sponsor as well as dell lg and others.. wgo..

  Good research Whatsgoingon. I'm not sure about the maths. 32.57 Thai Baht is equivalent to 1 USD, not 3.5.

  If this is done by a lone JW it demonstrates the fact that he sees JW org as a commercial product and can be promoted in that way. The WTBTS should see that what they are doing with branding their image can easily get out of hand.

  i've posted a few links in the past to youtube jw music video's but i came across this guy and i am impressed.

  his name is brendan vincent owens and he has his own website selling his songs.

  it is not immediately apparent that he is a jw.

  It was disappointing when they stopped that arrangement. We had a piano in our hall and it was always an elderly person that would play. I guess they were starting to find that the experienced players were getting to old and there was no one to replace them.

  It makes sense that as they are desperately seeking suitable men to take on the role of public speakers they will be left to substitute many talks with taped recordings. The taped music had more instruments playing and were probably considered superior, so too, the taped talks may be made with men who are better speakers but it lacks the most important qualities, one of which is that personal and human touch.

  I've posted a few links in the past to Youtube JW music video's but I came across this guy and I am impressed.

  His name is Brendan Vincent Owens and he has his own website selling his songs. It is not immediately apparent that he is a JW. It is only because I found one of his latest songs on Youtube that led me to his website. It is a song sung by a four year old girl and for the most part is sweet, except for the fact that it is full of praises for JW org.

  I have to admit they are really good and very professional, nothing like the recent songs the organization has put up on JW org. It's hard to fathom why the org wouldn't try to seek out his services, maybe he charges too much. From what I can figure out he has been doing this for many years as someone left a comment stating that they had grown up listening to his songs

  The other reason why I'm pretty sure he is a JW - most of his songs have the comments disabled.

  The thing is, they obviously have the talent available within their rank & file but can't get their act together to make the most of it and improve their presentation.
