Enjoy your freedom.It's wonderful. I've been out 6 years in October. 1 elder visit the first month out. My husband died last September, the same elder came to his funeral because my son called him & he studied with my husband. Not one person called or got in touch with me from this loving congregation. Not that it was expected,it just goes to show action speaks louder than words.Some speak some don't. If it ever comes to a point where I have to make a decision,I like Billy ex benefited ans. I'll disfellowshipped them.

by dubstepped inmy wife and i planned on fading but the elders now want a shepherding call and we are just done.
i know that many play the game to try to stay in, but i'm not a game player and neither is my wife.
our families already shun us because we reached out to a disfellowshipped family member.

Blood Ban Witch Hunt in Progress
by 5go ini have had my own power of attorney drawn up and sent to my non jw family to void out my old card.
but now the society is pretty much forcing the issue on everyone with the emergency contact information (witchhunt) gathering drive every year and basically not taking a no for an answer fill it ot or get pulled in back.
well i am giving them the big fu this time i filling their card out but listng my non jw family on it as the contact and then filling yet another power of attornty to void out their stupid card again..

I could be wrong but I think trying to force u to give them this info and for them to copy and file would be a violation of the health ins.portability accountability act.known HIPAA.They really don't have a right to this info. Hope this helps.

probably been on more than 100 judicial committees and even an appeals committee.
was the coordinator in our congregation and deleted because adult child was df ( i kicked him out at the time of his wrongdoing, but that wasn't enough for thr brothers).

1/15 WT- Guilt, Guilt, and More Guilt ! Black & White Cult Reasoning !
by flipper inthis particular article was discussed or touched on a couple months ago regarding the wt society's statement concerning jw's putting " jehovah above everything else- including the family bond " .
so i won't address those points in this thread, but there are many other points to address where the wt society uses guilt and black & white cult reasoning to control jw's minds with this information from the article titled, " let nothing distance you from jehovah ".
first off in paragraph 5 the wt tries to make people feel guilty looking for work and insists that if you get any job that takes you away from family- it will distance you from jehovah !

It is absolutely wonderful to sleep in, have breakfast & read the Sunday paper without the guilt or having to get dressed and leave home to hear the same old info over and over again.I wish all this freedom from guilt could be experienced by those in my family that are still in.

Listen to flipper, you do have options.If you meet with them they will ask for the details of your sleeping with your boyfriend. many of them are perverted. you really have to be careful when you talk to relatives . I learned this the hard way. whatever you do I wish you the best.

I love the Burgundy & gold & RG3. Finally a QB we can be proud of. I have a tremendous fear of naming the area I'm from. succesfully faded for 3 years, a family member still in.

I think you were very couragous. you were so calm and patient. I'm sure the younger brother that was there was quietly paying attention & will question some things,just because of the way you presented yourself.I wish there was a way to show it to my son who is still in.
