it took me a long time to write this....i'm being brutally honest...i am still a reg pioneer...three sundays ago,i was praying and asking god for a sign or something because i was so confused...i told him exactly what i needed to see for me to believe.i was feeling terrible--crying and feeling sick because i was so confused.ten minutes after, i walked into the kingdom hall and to my surprise--my prayer was answered!

i soooo wasn't expecting it, even though i prayed.

so this is where almighty god wants me to be,ii've reasoned.

i have an oral presentation tomorrow, and i need to know the correct pronunciation of a few geographical features in your country that i can read on paper, but have never heard in spoken language.. so please, if you will, spell out for me phonetically how you would say the following:.

1. adelaide.

2. melbourne .

Not to get off track, but I just read a few days ago that the famous Australian baby abduction over 30 years ago has been proven to have indeed been done by a wild dog called a Dingo. I suppose DNA or something

I believe Meryl Streep made a movie about it. She played the part of the mother who was accused of being behind the baby's disappearance.

in some small way i think i understand one reason for shaving new recruits or prisoners.

as i did it i felt sick in my stomach and it felt like i was losing some of my personality.

I shaved my head a few years ago (had something to do with a Superbowl wager). I liked the low maintenance and it felt good. It took about 5 weeks to grow back. I still keep it very short.

100 watt incandescent bulbs banned: What now?

this is a trend throughout the world, and the united tyranny of stupidity has joined the ranks of countries where you can no longer get a 100 watt incandescent light bulb.

next year, the 75 watt bulbs go.

and, in 2016, even the halogen lights that replace them are slated for bans.. where to turn to now?

Hopefully the price of a decent LED will drop as do most new devices that have a volume market. I have no problem with them. The flourescent Dairy Queen CFLs are OK to a point, but no dimmer or light level (like 3 way lamps) flexibility. The whole idea of having to take a dead CFL to a special recycling facility is never going to be observed, realistically. Thus, mercury contamination from them is inevitable.

i just read that at the trial they were surprised at the low turn out from the press is.

one report i read said that they had 40 empty seats in the courtroom.

after all the weeks that the news went on with the john edward's trail and the other trail that is making huge news about the sports player i thought for sure this one would be huge.. i guess i just do not understand what seems to be such a lack of interest now when this is talking about childern being abused.
