  Americans! What is up with your Iced Tea?

  this is the second time i've ordered an iced tea and gotten cold......well, tea.. am i supposed to add my own sugar?.

  My grandfather was born in Mississippi in 1894. He always referred to a paper sack as a "poke'.

  Ice tea is always sweetened in the south. They also don't know how a poached egg is cooked and red eye gravy is greasy water.

  My wife and I went into a small sandwich shop in London and ordered roast beef sandwiches. They had a display of packaged single serving potato chips. My wife said, "Oh, and 2 chips".The lady said they didn't have chips. My wife pointed to the rack and the lady said "Oh, you means crisps". Over there, chips are french fries.

  By the way the roast beef sandwiches were a paper thin slice of roast beef between two slices of bread with a smear of horseradish.

  Anybody here vegan?

  i've been considering it for awhile strictly for just general overall health.

  i don't take any meds, and would like to keep it that way for as long as i can.

  i am a "all things in moderation " type of person but the more i read about excluding dairy and meat, the more i think about doing it.

  My experience with vegetarianism is the same as Berengaria. Dad had been a meat eater until I was about 2 or 3 and then went vegie. Mom cooked to suit him and we kids very rarely had meat but had beans instead. Cheese was ok and some milk. His biggest no-no was refined flour and sugar. I think that was a good thing but I don't think growing kids should be fed a vegan diet. Flesh protien is good.

  Soak your liver in alcohol and it will be bullet proof.

  What should I do?

  today is my first time seeing a bag of dog poop on my yard.

  i do not know who did it but i picked it up and i put it in the febreze trash bag then i threw it in my garbage can.

  if i will ever find out who did it, what should i do?

  I met a lady last week.........

  i met a lady last week, we like each other, she flirted with me but i have not asked her out for date.

  she is very pretty but i ran a background check on her.

  she got arrested for possession of marijuana last year.

  What has or would motivate you to attend an Ex-JW meet up...

  i just wanted to get a general consensus of what are the motivations to attend an ex-jw meet up.

  if you've already attended one before, what motivated you the first time or each successive time?

  if you've never attended an ex-jw meet up before what do you think could motivate you to attend one?.

  My motivation was to meet up with some folks who I thought would be interesting to get to know as real people. We had no board conflicts to complicate things. We met at a local pub. on a nice afternoon. There were, as I recall, about 5 avatars and a couple of their mates. It was the most stiff and uncomfortable 20 minutes I have ever spent over a pint of beer. Very dissapointing.

  Glad you asked. I paid $14.00 for the court recorder to provide xerox copies. Satan was served papers on August the 3rd, 1914 and was evicted on October 17th of that year. His ratty furniture was left at the curb. His reported last words as he was frog marched out by two deputies were "You M-----F-----'s will be sorry!"

  I buy a fifth of Teachers here in Oregon for about $23.00. Prices vary greatly from state to state. Across the river in Washington the same bottle would be $30.00 while down in California it would be about $16.00.

  What does a fifth of everyday scotch like Teachers go for at a UK take-away? (converted to US $)
