i've had a goal to drink my first alcohol this year and i decided that i would take the plunge while in my hotel.
i chose a tiny bottle of jacob's creek and retired to my room.. i had two sips and had to stop.
seriously vile.
Personally, I like Wheet Ale like Blue Moon, or Shock Top. There are a lot of diffrent wines, and they taste diffrent depending on age. If you want to drink somthing that dosn't nessasarily taste like alcohol, try Mike's Hard Lemonade. If you want to try some shots, try my personal favorite Kalua and Cream, you can also try Drambui, or After Shock, or if you are serious about getting drunk fast and can take shots you may try Bicardi 151 but watch out that stuff literally will catch fire.

down over the years i have experienced plenty of discouragement and cynicism about faith and the existence of a god who cares for us.
if i allowed myself to dwell on those things alone, i suppose that i too would be feeling hopeless and cynical and would be just waiting until my time is up.. however, i don't feel that way at all.

the recent & surprising developments in the uk and australia got me thinking..... the governing body of jehovah's witnesses is nothing if not arrogant.
they consider themselves "god's channel of communication", stopping just short of claiming divine inspiration.
they believe that they and they alone are the masters of "christ's belongings" and are answerable only to him.. the watchtower society's legal department carefully crafts gb decisions so as not to put the watchtower society's assets or prestige as risk.
They have all ready slipped up.
I think it may be related to how meny post you have made. I noticed that some users quilt block has changed over time. Just a guess.

some one close to the MP Kingdom hall case told me that word was spreading over the net about the case and that the plantiffs were being called "The Menlo Park Two" I wanted to find out what was being said about the case online so I googled "Menlo Park 2 Jehovah". I stumbled upon Juan Viejo's post about the case. Causiously, I joined and sent JV a pm.
I was a lerker for a wile after that, and now I post on JWN here and there. I was really given a creative licence during the Mad Sweeny interview when JV named me as one of his annonomous contacts that is fairly close to the case.
I have been able to do a lot of helpfull reaserch here and on other sites. Google is my best friend, and probably WT's worst enamy. There is a reason they discourage the R&F from looking at the internet. WT can't control the Information, Really no one can. WT can't keep secrets any more, and lies become difficult to conceal.
I finally had the opertunity to meet JV in person recently, and was recived as an old friend would be. I find that the people that frequent this site, Yes even the JW's are kind, and caring even if misguided at times. I feel more comunity with all of you then I ever did on the inside of a KH.

the way that jesus accomplishes that redemption, however, differs between them.
according to the gospels god, or god's son, lived a man's life and died as a man in redemption of mankind.

i am surprised by the level of ignorance displayed on the simplest of doctrines and shocked by their passion.
It is amazing to see them incesantly defending the "Mentally Diesesed" article as religious freedom. They must be spending hours typing, and they are the only ones reading each others coments. it's like a circle jerk.

following the recent breakthrough i have just sent the following email to sky news, expanding on the issue of the "mentally diseased" article to incorporate the issue of uk charitable status.
i feel this is a good angle to go at, because sky news tends to focus on uk economic policy issues quite extensively.
5 million per year in government gift aid being frittered away on a charity that condones breaking-up families and blocking medical treatment seems to me to be a newsworthy item.. here is the email.

What exactly do the JW's do that is "Charitable" and of benafit to the comunity?
