Oh poor Bez you are in for a rude awakening, hate to break it to you, but you can be DF if you don't go. They will think you don't care anyway to present a case. Also lets say Boo to Grandma and Grandpa, it is there lost, I am sure they will not be able to see the great grands without the parents bringing them right?! Hmmm.... I guess the kids are under restriction too huh? Unless they come over and talk to you through the kids... hah ha.

You are right when you said you are not handeling this right. If she was really sick of you she would have left without even telling you. Just be easy............. Give her some space, tell her you will leave the house for a few days to give her some space to think. Make sure you take care of stuff around the house, cutting grass, taking trash out, and ect... Make sure she has everything she needs. Go over there for 20 min a day.. to make sure the house is striaght. Tell her you love her and ect.... When you do come back home tell her you want to talk, talk about counseling and ect.... Wait to things cool down. Also for future reference you might not have told her at the right time you did not want to go to the meetings. Being a housewife is not easy it is a 24 hour job, and stressful... maybe you should have waited until things calmed down and is in a routine. I am currently a housewife myself with a 4 year old and 8 month old, operating with little sleep. That alone makes you angry and irrational. Also my husband takes care of the kids so I can have me time, you know get nails and ect done, and go to the gym. Think about it. Also garyneal thanks for the welcome.

As a women I will say that you should show support. My spouse is a so called unbeliever, and we were going to the meetings together. He stopped but I still kept on going. However, he always supported me, even with getting the kids dressed and ready.. also he never infringed on my beliefs. Of course a few months back if I had to pick between him and God, it would have been God. However, God opened my eyes to the jws falsehoods. How, well I prayed for the truth and the internet did the rest a few weeks after my prayer. So my advice be easy, pray for God to open her eyes, do it in faith, and support her. Please and I say please do not leave booklets and ect around, and do not try to keep her busy the day or night before the meeting. She will say that satan is using you to get to her. Instead make sure you help her get out of the house on time for the meeting, and help with chores around the house. Also make sure you Dont Start anything you can not finish... example like doing stuff you never did before and ect.....

Latest SAD--More Higher Ed Bashing. Did you know it's one of Satan's False Refuges?
by Cadellin inwell, folks, this little mermaid just got back from the sad she had to attend w/her husband so as to keep a measure of peace (we're in the process of working out compromises...you know how it goes) i was pretty mad by the end of the day (thank god it ended at 4:00) mostly because i learned some new things that i would never have guessed in a million years.. did you know that satan is setting up artificial "refuges" as a counterfeit to jehovah's "true refuge"which is...his organization???
now satan's "false refuges" are pretty damn bad, like, for instance, "independent thinking.
" no, siree bob, we don't want none of that!!

Heh he u are so bad... for the life of me, whenever I went to those meetings, I thought I was the only one who didn't get it.....now it is good to know I was not alone. Why is it I have a feeling that there are alot of people like us, but they keep quiet for fear of trouble... Hmm now that is food for thought.

The way your dad treated you should have answered any doubts you might have had. You know you do not belong in an org where it teaches lack of love instead of love. Your kids do not need to observe this either. I am happy that you had the guts to ask the questions, and take the lonely road that few dare travel for fear of the unknown. I am just starting this road myself, and I know that the sh>>> is going to hit the fan, my parents have been in the org for over 30 years, elder and pioneers. However, I know that we only have one life to live for now... and I perfer to live my life happy and with a clear conscience... Well congrats to you and the fam.

Could Watchtower Collapse Be Sooner Than You Think?
by metatron inthere have been a number of developments over the past few months and they paint an interesting picture.. witnesses can keep dragging themselves to meetings ad infinitum however, the future of the watchtower itself is another story.
the evidence of continuing cash flow problems is now overwhelming.
if you talk to well placed witnesses, most won't deny it but simply blame it on the publishers financial problems.. they have cut off loans to congregations many of whom genuinely need new kingdom halls.

The Watchtower Society is dumb, of course they will go broke, because the hardcore members never went to school, remember......... the individuals who went to school against the suggestion of the society more than likely were already independent thinkers who saw the real New Light, and left the organization with their money. The society did themselves in with the no education rule.. and now have poor members who can not contribute except with their mindless comments at the meetings. Question, why would you want uneducated members who more than likely will have menial jobs and can not contribute? I do not think that this will not build an organization up, instead it will cause burdens and hardships.

Yes there is a way to get back home just don't let too much time pass. You know your parents, sweet talk them. Tell them that the kids tease you for never having a girlfriend, or having sex.. They call you gay, and you have been feeling down and wondering if they are right.... Tell them you want to serve God, and help others to get to know him. Do it soon, don't let too much time pass . Look at it as a job, the same way they are using you to look good, and making you count hours out in field, you can use them to pay for your schooling, and maybe one day you can help others in the future who might be in the same situation as you were when you were 19.

I have been reading your post. As someone young like you, and who has been there, you should fake it till you make it. Tell your pops what he wants to hear. Cause it is either their way or the highway. Trust.... It is hard out here, and you are better under your parents roof. All these people can tell you go ahead and leave and ect.. But if you are on the street they will not say come stay with me. Look you are still young, tell your parents you want to go to the meetings, and ect... let them pay for your school, when you get a degree leave. It is easier to get a degree going to school full time for 4 to 6 years, then to worry about rent and bills, and then going to school. Your parents can not read your mind... And another good piece of advice get a laptop, that they can not look at the histroy....leave no evidence.
