  Embarrassed As A Witness

  even as a witness,i was uncomfortable talking about everything we believed.

  i remember working with my brother out and service and he found an interested person.

  my brother was sharing information out of the bible teach book.

  I understand I used to feel that way also even as child i used to think is their more to life. I also remeber doing field serivce and encountering classmates that was very embrassing.

  I agree that the us of clock is not literal but they should change their methods. Considering the fact that a lot has changed since 1953 and now climate is the new thing to fear although I am not downplaying the seriousness of it.

  How Many Out There Have to Hide or Be Stealthy When They Visit This Site? I know I do.

  i cannot look at this site freely, it would make my hubby and son very upset.

  i have to hide what i'm looking at, or try to view this page very late or very early in the morning.

  hubby has taken to getting up at 11:30pm or later, to see what i'm doing on the computer.

  when you left the man-made organization currently known as the wtbts??.

  and for those still "in" but mentally "out" what have you started doing thats against the silly, stupid and non-scriptural watchtower policy/law/rule??.

  i know the question has been made before on another thread but i couldn't find it and also there's been quite some growth in new ones here to jwn, so just wanted to see if we could all share some lovely/funny/random experiences.

  the witness came to my house on jan 8 2011 it was completely unannounced.i just wush they would leave us alone.

  The witness's came yesterday and left two watchtowers. When will these people learn? It is almost sad to see them going door to door thinking they are saving lives, when in fact it is all a big scam meant to control them. That is what this religon is about control and lack of free thought sickening.

  I am doing this in private becuase a lot of people I know are still witness though even at school I have to be careful.So I try to post when I get the chance which this time which 10:21 p.m or 11:00 p.m. Makes you wonder we should we all be living like this? This is not healthy.This is sad how we all have to sneak at night to make a post.

  do you miss anything from when you were a jw?

  a few of my friends who also used to be jw's, say they miss certain things abt it...i can honestly say that i don't miss a single thing (my sister obviously who's still in but nothing else).. before i could sometimes miss having such a strong belief but that's also gone.

  i guess i've moved on big time.

  I also sometimes feel nostalgic about the Jw's but once I really think about it. The joy was short lived as I got older I kept on wondering could this really be the truth?
