Taliban - Resistence is FUTILE !

the following appeared on cnn today.

it is like something the klingon empire or the borg from star trek might say.

the us military is broadcasting all over afghanistan the following message - i believe on all frequencies.

Cowards are not as determined as they would have us believe True, but who said Afghanis are cowards? As a matter of fact, these people have been in a war since the day they were born!

And, (and I know I will be attacked again), the American statement was a whole lot of piss. Yes, they know SOME of the smart bombs hit their targets, and they know that some also explode.

Remember the Gulf War? What was shown on TV was a damned bluff - the successes. IF the US Air Force had done so fantastic bombing of valuable targets, they would have shown videos - just because propaganda demands successes to show for.

So far, the Taliban has been able to show mor hits on civilian mud-huts than the US can show of valuable targets! And the claims of the Taliban is supported partly by the UN and independant journalists!

When we come to ground fighting, up in the mountains, I'm not so sure the fighting is so "futile" as the propaganda says. After all, Russia and England has tried before. Of all the English who invaded, 1 survived. More Russians survived - but the SuperPower Russia lost the battle against these "cowards".

So, I don't agree. This time, however, the Taliban don't get tons of modern weapons from nobody - and they can't keep on fighting for ever. But a fast victory - no way.

What's MORE interesting just now is when the Middle-East explodes. The idiots in Israel will make the Middle-East the problem the US fears most - I'm pretty certain about that. And what then?

The need of two new "small nuclear bombs" placed in Israel seems to be a solution, and you seem to accept those weapons as acceptable....

It really doesn't matter if you agree with me or not. We will all have to learn how to handle differences of opinion, without as a rule trying to make the "oponent" say something he didn't, or try to twist others words.

If everyone agreed with anything, I would kill myself. I would have preffered that to boring myself slowly to death!

I am honestly trying to publish facts, and to check my sources as good as I possibly can. Naturally, I make errors as anyone else, and if I unintentionally hurt someone, I'm not too proud to apologize. If I publish anything on the Observer which is in error (which honestly isn't that often)- I will remove it immedeately. If many have seen it, I will publish a message explaining what happened.

It's a lot of work, yes. But I know many people are helped by these efforts done by many people online. The Watchtower Observer is one site, Osarsif, Randy, Silentlambs and others are doing a HUGE job, and investing so many hours in this nobody will believe it if we told them.

I guess I personally have spent an average of 4 hours every day for 8 years or so to keep things running!

So, I am grateful when someone tells me the worke payed off the way it was intended - helping some people!

For Any JW Who Doubts The WT/ UN Connection

we've all seen the scathing things wt has printed about the un over the years but in the last few yrs there has been a change in tone when they speak of the un at times.below i provide an example of this courtesy of dec 8,2000awake.. i made some quotes bold print.as you read notice the complimentary tone and the spots where un photos appear.those were probably obtained as a perk with their membership.. ask your self,is this any way to speak of the scarlet colored wild beast?

Of course the Watchtower has email addresses - all over the world. Normally they use [email protected].country

Look at the addresses.

If you search, search for @wtbts.org on the search engines, and you will find a lot of them.

I have supplied some here, and I would be grateful if we all could collect addresses like this. The JWs are inside official documents as a result of their UN involvment, they are in security discussions online, buying and selling equipment, their addresses are hidden all over the place.

Let's all do some searches for them, and make a thread where only JW official emails are listed!

in reporting cases when individuals have disassociated themselves by engaging in nonneutral activities, the following direction should be followed.

BOE letter Sept 20. 1984 tells us:

When a person disassociates himself from the congregation by reason of violating his Christian neutrality, a
committee of brothers should consider the evidence establishing the matter. This information should also be
kept in a sealed envelope as outlined in the above paragraph.

Here is another painful quote:

At times, members of the congregation who are pursuing citizenship may be asked by the Immigration
and Naturalization Service to have their local congregation provide a letter confirming their status as one of
Jehovah's Witnesses. Whether a body of elders will provide such a letter of good standing is left to the
discretion of each body of elders handling the matter.
TO ALL BODIES OF ELDERS 1N THE UNITED STATES
November 6, 1995
Page 2
Each body will want to consider. seriously whether providing such a letter is appropriate in light of the
individual's standing in the congregation. Since the local body of elders is in the best position to decide whether
such a letter should be provided, the Society will not involve itself in determinations of this nature.
If the body determines that a letter of identification is appropriate, a brief letter could be provided
concerning a publisher's standing in the congregation. The enclosed sample is an example of what you may
provide. Any embellishment or elaboration of this letter is not permissible.
Additionally, local immigration authorities may ask the applicant to obtain a letter from their "church"
outlining the beliefs of Jehovah's Witnesses and/or the local congregation respecting the bearing of arms. Please
DO NOT COMMFNT on that subject in any correspondence with gov ' 1 authorities Any. such letter may be
written by the individual applying for citizenship_rgeardinghis or her personal beliefs on neutrality. It may be
that the publisher is told that their application will be denied without said letter. This is the risk they take in
pursuing citizenship. The congregation is organized to advance Kingdom interests and not to involve itself in an
individual's personal pursuit of citizenship. The congregation cannot comment on matters of personal individual
conscience.

i want to let all of you know that we have decided not to contest the elders decision to publicly reprove us tonight.

after a lot of thought, we feel in the long run that by letting this go ahead it will only make the elders and the organization look guilty, not us.. the elders have basically ordered us not to talk about what our "crime" is with anyone.

so we have decided that we will tell others what our crime was not, i.e.

Send a mail to every member of the congregation, and tell them WHY this happened!

That should be something. And, don't forget to send a copy to your lawyer and the local press - AND to the UN!

Also, bring a journalist to the meeting tonight, and give hime a real good information about what and why. Then he can talk to the arrogant assholes after the meeting - and a scandal is on the run!

Can you please explain why the Watchtower Society after 10 years suddenly resigned from the UN NGO system?
Why didn't you want to me members any more?
Aftar all, according to the "Mission To Africa" brochure, the UN allowed you to use their planes, and you need to be members to use the UN library. Why the sudden change?

armegeddon. Well, we can still plan things becaue as the Bible says no one knows when it will be here. So just like we dont' go out and buy expensive cars and houses becaue of thinking of armegeddon will be here and I won't have to pay it off. We still go about our lives and make plans until armegeddon gets here. As long as we are not goign against Jehovah then we'll be ok. If armegeddon comes by then, then it comes if not, we get to go on a cruise.

But, you can just do it. It's allowed to send emails to people. Just don't send to 500 at once, then it's spamming. LOL
