  a little experience that happened very recently:.

  another brother, an elder, and i were talking, i was explaining to him and giving him several examples of how a couple of the elders in our congregation were blatantly trying to run their own show, parading themselves around as "representatives" of the body, when the other brothers didnt know what the hell they were talking about.

  they are using their "elder powers" to bully and push people around, causing a bit of angst and hurt feelings.

  the wt claims that apostates are "mentally diseased".

  most of us are aware of this claim on this forum.

  I never thought about the mentally challenged before with reference to surviving Armageddon. Good point. The Soc has always made mistakes in adding words to the scriptures, about survivors. The Bible only notes, a Great Crowd, of many Nations, and Tribes. Such are judged on the basis of the heart condition by Jesus who is capable to read hearts. So no society, no men men can judge who will survive based on their limitations. Of course this is how I see it, but I could be wrong. I'm willing to take my chances.

  please don't take this the wrong way if your battling weight problems, that's not what this thread is meant to talk about.

  i am asking this question because jehovah's witnesses claim they have "the best way of life", "god's blessing", "the truth" and are trying to change the habits of healthy people by turning them in to their own makings.

  i watched people who were great athletes turn all their muscle in to fat because we would get a elder or circuit overseer make remarks they were spending too much time "working out" and "bodily training is beneficial for little".

  Did anyone else feel the Nor Cal earthquake?

  i got woken up by a very strong quake at 3:30 this morning.

  it was 6.0 centered about ten miles from my house, up in napa, ca.

  we had no damage, but it definitely gets you it of bed!

  Saw Paul McCartney at Candlestick in San Fran

  saw the paul mccartney concert last week and it was amazing.

  almost 3 hours of non stop music, a mixture of beatles, wings & newer music.

  i was smart & planned ahead-- drove to san francisco in the morning to mess around the city & checked into a hotel 6 miles away, got to the concert over 2 hours early.. anyone else attend?.

  That's really interesting. I can see the government stamp out all religious elements that show a hatred towards others. They seem to use that Extremist word. The Arab world are trying to appear that they don't condone the ISIS Extremist view
