I've heard those words expressed between family members who have gone different paths. But, then 5 years later they are forgotten, and the new circumstances have all been worked out. It all depends on the reason for separation. Schooling only lasts for a few years. Soon after your freind dispises you for having the guts to make an important decision in your life that will benefit you in the long run.

Four Questions Logical JW's Can't Answer
by Suspicious inhere are 4 simple questions most jw's (even elders) cannot logically answer.. .
1)if jw's are to completely stay away from all forms of demonism, why do many jw's watch magical disney movies?.
* watching magic/demonism is not a matter of conscience.. * there is no gray area when it comes to magic.

There are more than 4 questions that you could ask a JW, that they would have a hard time replying to.

Well, Long Term Care Facilities are necessary. They also need to make a profit, otherwise, they will fail and the residents will have to seek care elsewhere. It's good that such facilities exist because some elderly ones feel unconfortable in Homes that feature holidays that are not practiced by JW's. The pricing $3,000. per month is about average for this type of arrangement.
In Canada the JW LTC's can't discriminate and only accept JW's. This would be discriminatory, and would violate goverment legislation.

Yes, I watched it. They are really extreme in comparaison to the JW faith, but, you are right some similarities.

There Is No Key To Happiness!
by abiather inreligions make it appear that there is a key to happiness and give the impression that they have the key, and enjoy people always look to them for happiness!.
interestingly, jesus meant there is no key to happiness, but it is the very nature of all human beings.
(luke 17:21) people like jws did not even translate this verse properly.

Usually the key to happiness opens a door to a Corvette

They really should alter the whole non-blood policy, whole, and fractions into a personal concience decision. They won't do this because of the amount of lives that were affected by the early non-blood policy. A reversal of this would really send shockwaves throughout the whole organization.
I'm tired of seeing young people die of Leukemia in our faith, and I have an elderly neighbour in the 80's have his transfusion and continue's to live. The diffirence is, the fear of exercising your right of concience, because of consequences.

Understand: Our salvation is not Jesus' primary concern
by pixel in...at least that's what the sunday study said:.
"at the same time, we need to understand that our salvation is not jesus' primary concern.
his main purpose from the beginning to the end of his earthly ministry was to work for the sanctification and glory of his father's name".

Yes good observation, Pixel. I wondered about that when it was considered at the WT study.
