to cope with the dissonance caused by past wt 'truth' becoming out-dated with new contradictory 'truth' metaphors are employed to subtly redefine the definition of truth.

the light of truth becomes progressively brighter, revealing new truths clearer than ever before and supposedly adding to, but not contradicting old truths (zion's watch tower, 2/1881:3).. however the evidence at many points indicates doctrinal contradiction, so more recently the wt added another metaphor for 'truth': .

they call their organization "the truth" hence claiming the position of Christ.

He said: "All those who come in place of me are THIEVES AND PLUNDERERS."

A "New Creation"..

for those of you who want to belong to our lord, have recognized that we were "bought" with a price, there is something you all should know.. we don't have to get our 'answers' at all from men.

we don't have to seek "flesh and blood" to "come to know truth.

For those of you who want to belong to our Lord, have recognized that we were "bought" with a price, there is something you all should know.

We don't have to get our 'answers' at all from MEN. We don't have to seek "flesh and blood" to "come to know truth." We were "bought with a price" to belong to One. Hence there is NO NEED to 'belong to any religion. We don't have to seek an "accurate" or "perfect" translation of the Bible either. All we have to do, to understand "truth" and to FINALLY know "truth" is go to the One whom God has been telling us for over 2,000 years. And previously 'promised' that from this One, we can learn everything we need to 'know' both of the Father, and this One.

The Master said: "No one fully knows the Son, but the Father, and no one fully knows the Father, but the Son. And to WHOMEVER THE SON WANTS, HE REVEALS HIM." "I am the way, and the TRUTH, and the life;" (Matt. 11:27, John 14:6)

Whom did the disciples consult with everytime they had a question? Was it not our Lord? Did they not say, "Master, what must I do to get life?" or "Master, who sinned so that this man was born blind?" or "Master, tell us, what will be the sign of your presence?" They did not consult with each other did they? They asked him, because they all knew he was "Truth," the "Anointed of God."

While in the flesh our Master said: "Behold, the world will behold me no longer, BUT YOU WILL BEHOLD ME. And because I live, you will also live."

When our Master was killed in the flesh, the world certainly 'beheld him no more.' They no longer could see him nor ask him questions and hear his answers as they did before he was killed. Now the Master said 'but, you will behold me'. Did they "behold him?" Yes, after the three days were completed, they ALL beheld him. And even after his ascension they CONTINUED to behold him. They were all able to see him, hear his voice just like before, ask him questions and hear the answers from him.

That is why Peter said: "Repent ye therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, that so there may come seasons of refreshing from the presence of the Lord; and that he may SEND FORTH THE CHRIST who hath been appointed for you, even Jesus:" (Acts 3:19, 20)

If anyone of you 'repent' and turn around, you CAN ask that the Father send forth his Son to you. For he was appointed FOR YOU. The Master said, "If you ask ANYTHING in my name, I WILL do this." Ask in the name of Jesus, to have the Son of God sent to you, so that you may "hear his voice." He promised, that if anyone "keeps his word" he personally will both 'live INSIDE you, and "PLAINLY SHOW HIMSELF TO YOU." (John 14:21, 23)

When he arrives, "in low tones [his] mouth utters truth itself." He will teach you "all things" and guide you into "all the truth." He will thus be your 'guide' your "leader' and you will not need to listen to any man, for you can listen directly to him. If you choose to listen to him, and yet you don't listen to 'ALL that he says' he will send ones to you to tell you again what you are refusing to hear from his mouth.

If you listen to him, no one will need to be sent to you. You will constantly hear over and over things you need to work on, so that you can be made "in union" with him.

He will pour out the holy spirit, living water, upon you so that you can have "life" in yourselves, and through that spirit, you will form a 'bond' between you and the Master. It will serve as the 'line of communication' between you and Him. Anytime you want to talk to him, He will both hear and answer you through that holy spirit INSIDE you. You will then become IN him, a "new creation" in UNION with Him.

Have 'faith' in the message, that He is not far off from each one of us. He will come and be 'one' with you, if you any of you are indeed 'seeking' and 'asking.' For He is the Door. It is him that you are to be "knocking on." If you keep "knocking" He WILL open up to you. For he does not say these things to you to 'tickle' your ears. He speaks these things so that you may have life (be saved)." (John 5:34).

Please, listen to the spirit INSIDE you. It is saying that you NEED to go to the Son and hear DIRECTLY from him. All you have to do is "go." Seek the face of the Holy One of Israel in prayer and ASK him to please "send your Son to me." "Send out your light(Jesus) and truth(Jesus). May these themselves LEAD me." (Psalms 43:3) "I am the light of the world..." "I am .. the truth.." (John 8:12, 14:6).

Let him who has ears "hear" what the spirit says to the congregation.

Let all the house of Israel KNOW, that the "Door" is OPEN, and it is HE that "opens so that NO ONE shuts, and shuts so that NO ONE opens." Please 'go in' and "find pasturage" while the Door is STILL open.

Babylon the great

does anyone have an explanation of "babylon the great" as described in the book of revelation different than as explained by jehovah's witnesses.

Greetings Logical,

And that is the VERY reason why my Lord says that all those who 'profess' to be 'anointed' with his spirit and are apart of the JW organization, are "imposters."

They are that "foreign woman" in proverbs that we are warned against and also they are those who "come on the basis of my name saying, 'I am anointed' and will MISLEAD MANY."

Since they are 'foreign women' He will likewise say to them "I never KNEW you."

And that is why they were the "harlots" in the revelation given to our brother. For if they truly recieved that 'anointing,' they would not be 'attached' to any religion, only my Lord who 'anointed' them.

Indeed, the "Mother" has fallen in Oct. 9th 2000. Now she along with the "harlots" of whom she is "Mother" of await the judgement from our Father.

What about the " 7,000 -year day "?

revelation 20:7 speaks of the loosing of satan from the abyss after the 1,000-year reign.

7,000 and 6,000 years are totally irrevelavent with regard to scriptures. These are just ones who "scrupously observe months and YEARS ...."

"the loosing of Satan for the final test comes after the millennial reign is over and Christ turns the Kingdom government over to Jehovah God,"

Is entirely incorrect.

John CLEARLY states that:

"Now as soon as the thousand years HAVE ENDED .... "

And Paul clearly states:

"Then cometh the end, when he shall deliver up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have abolished all rule and all authority and power. FOR HE MUST REIGN, until he has put ALL HIS ENEMIES under his feet. The LAST ENEMY that shall be abolished is death (not Satan). "

He hands over the kingdom AFTER ALL enemies are gone. Satan, death, etc.

But, of course, who reads these days anyway....

Question for gay people

the question is about the term "tolerance" or "tolerating".. when someone says something along the lines of "i'm very tolerant of gay people" or "gay people should be tolerated", how do you feel?.

the reason i ask is this: doesn't the concept of tolerating something imply a background negative?

for instance, i can say "i tolerate my brother-in-law".

You are indeed correct.

I'm not gay, but I had to respond. I personally don't care for 'intercourse.' The reason people "tolerate" them is because they are showing they have Favortism in their hearts. Something NOT approved of by My Father.

All sin, is sin. No sin is any worse than another other than the 'unforgiveable sin.' So if you are "tolerate" of gay people. Then you MUST be the exact same around, adulterers, fornicators, men with 2 wives, Liars (of ALL kinds), hypocrites (of ALL kinds), decievers (in ANY shape or form regardless whom it comes from), drunkards, etc.

Keep in mind that this is a 'wicked and ADULTEROUS' generation. So they way a person acts around gay people because he 'tolerates' them, MUST act the EXACT SAME WAY around ALL others who basically make up everyone. Otherwise, that person has 'Favortism' in his heart and is thus a hypocrite. He is one who has NOT come to know the love of God and so he doesn't know God.

Bible Studys...

just found out tonite that my congregation currently has 13 bible studies happening at the moment.

and 11 of them are family member bible studys.

does anyone else on this board know the number of bible studys for their cong?

Here's a bible study "topic," if you like?

I was talking to some JWs the other day and they provided a scripture 1 Cor. 13:10 which says:

"but when that which is perfect is come, that which is in part shall be done away."

Talking about miracles, & things will cease. But they said that the "complete" thing or the "perfect" thing was the bible. Now, IF THIS IS SO .... then where is John 5:4, Acts 8:37, Acts 24:7, etc.?

In addition to that my Lord has said:

"You keep searching the SCRIPTURES because you think that BY MEANS OF THEM you will have everlasting life. And these (the bible) are they which bear witness of Me."

"And yet you will NOT come to ME that you will have life." (John 5:39, 40)

We can 'search' the scriptures and try to 'know' everything IN them, and STILL not get everlasting life. Or you can go directly to the Son who is IN your midst, not far off from each one of us, ASK him and directly recieve everlasting life. (John 4:14; 7:37-39, the 'water' is NOT the bible nor 'knowledge').

If the bible was the "complete" thing, then that is all we need to have 'everlasting life,' it being "perfect."

Logical, you said:

You are correct. The problem that you may not see... is that they made a 'covenant' to our Father INVOLVING idolatry. So what must be addressed is ... "What SHARING does God have with idolatry?" If you vow a 'vow' to God with idoaltry questions, you vowed with idolarty in view and not with righteousness in view. So by JWs fulfilling that vow with the idolatry that they agreed to commit, 'according to the vow,' then they DID EXACTLY what they promised to do in the name of Jehovah. Namely, commit idolatry.

This 'covenant' is described by our Father in Isaiah 28:14,15.

"Wherefore hear the word of Jehovah, ye scoffers, that rule this people that is IN Jerusalem: 'Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with Sheol are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us; for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:"

Notice that a 'covenant' WAS made, but with death. And that 'covenant' or 'promise' was that when the "scourge" from Jehovah comes, "it shall NOT come to us." These were the words of the RULERS of Jerusalem, God's people, a.k.a. the "true religion." Sounds just like the same "rulers" of a "true religion" organization on earth today, yes?

God has made only one 'covenant' with his Son as mediator, the 'new covenant.' The WTBTS has willfully refused "partaking" in that covenant, as well as 6 million JWs. They also willingly "make that known" among other JWs. But, the 'society' known as the Anointed Remnant WITH the Governing Body as its Mother has professed to 'partake' in that covenant.

When God says "get out of her my people," He is calling us out from 'among' the Governing Body AND it's 'anointed remnant.' Since our 'spiritual food' is 'said' to come from the 'anointed.' Her judgement is coming. The WTBTS is a 'legal entity' or 'wild beast' that the Governing Body 'sits' on as a queen.

Don't be mislead, ANY ONE OF US could ALSO be refered to in the prophecies against Israel. For the Son of Man is 'known' to give 'unfaithful ones' their portion with the "hypocrites." For "judgement" starts with the 'house' of God (1 Pet. 4:17; Heb. 3:6).

To him that has 'ears,' "hear" what the spirit says to the congregations.

'I Still Believe It's The Truth'!

Hello all,

I know this may be a little off topic, but there is some things about what "truth" is that the 'spirit' inside of me wanted you to entertain. Not necessarily on this board, but perhaps entertain it in your 'hearts' when speaking with our Lord (Ps. 4:4).

Do you all remember how only 144,000 will be 'joint-heirs' with Christ in the heavens? Well, here's what Paul said:

"For ALL who are LED by God's spirit these are God's sons,"

"For ye received not the spirit of bondage again unto fear; but ye received the spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father."

"The spirit itself bears witness with our spirit that we are God's sons. And if sons, then heirs; heirs indeed of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; provided that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified with him." (Rom. 8:14-17)

Are only 144,000 'led by God's spirit?' If so then what 'spirit' are all 'other' "christians" led by? If its not God's spirit would it be the 'spirit of the world?' If it is the 'spirit of the world' then they are not "christians," are they?

The Revelation that John recieved, he saw a "great multitude, from every tribe, and nation, and people, and tongue, standing before the throne." Well, looking at the same revelation, John sees persons from "every tribe, and people, and nation and tongue" made to be priests of our God and rule as kings upon the earth. (Rev. 5:9, 10) The 144,000, however are not from 'every nation' but only from the 'nation of the sons of Israel.' (Rev. 7:4).

This indeed is the 'good news' of the kingdom that was preached by Paul, that people 'of the nations' would also reign with those 144,000 'sons of Israel' in the kingdom of the heavens.

And thus, the servants of Christ offer the free gift of holy spirit to "anyone wishing, anyone thirsting, anyone seeking" so that they too can worship God 'in spirit and in truth.' They can recieve the 'living water' which comes ONLY FROM THE SON so that they may have "life" in themselves so that they never die (John 4:14). Holy spirit provides a 'line of communication' between you and the Son of God so that you can 'hear' his actual words when he speaks to you. You then can form a 'bond' of union between you and the Son of God, "hearing" Truth from the actual source.
