Well then why does it say in the bible "Do not forsake the gathering of yourselves together"??

Notice it says do not forsake the GATHERING of ourselves. It does not say "do not forsake the MEETINGS that we gather for." Is there any record where apostles or "christians" SCHOOLED other christians. Nor there aren't. The people that the Christians taught, were only UNbelievers. Why? Because they all had an anointing, and that "anointing" alone taught them EVERYTHING so that NO MAN (apostle, elder, etc.) would be teaching them at all.

1 John 2:27

When Christians gathered, they did just that, gathered. They enjoyed each others company in an informal way. Talked, encouraged, upbuilded, etc. There was no "schedule" or no "meetings" by a "conductor." Its the same "TYPE" of gathering witnesses have at house-warmings, welcome home, receptions, etc. The only difference is, the Christians would just meet where ever and just associate with each other, enjoy each others company. No "speacial" occaision.

The writer of Hebrews said not to "forsake" this because there was GREAT persecution and it was very likely the days they had with each other were few. When Paul was in prision, he missed SO much the other brothers he wrote them with tears. The Hebrews had not yet been tested in that way. So while they had the time each other, they should spend it, enjoy each other, get to know each other. Love each other.

Also remember this happens ANYWHERE, not in a "pre-set" Hall. Jesus said:

"Where there are two OR three gathered together in my name, I am in their midst."

Matthew 18:20

So two people are enough. Three, four, however. It does NOT mean "the more people, the more likely Jesus is present."

It means two OR three are sufficient.

if we read the new world translation as it is written, it is quite clear that the god to which they refer to, when using the name jehovah is not applicable to the father but would identify the son, jesus the christ instead.. is any one here reads the same thing i read?.

mmm... the NWT doesn't appear to be the only "correct translation" to me. I spoke what I 'heard' and was provided those scriptures to cite.

Why did not the Father say THAT truth to Isaiah?

I asked him that same question, and this is the answer he gave me.

"At that time my Father WAS the Savior of Israel and besides him there was no other. When I was resurrected, and after I had been MADE PERFECT I BECAME responsible for the salvation of all those obeying me. I was not a Savior, but after I had been made perfect, I BECAME the Savior to Israel.

Recall my prayer to my Father before I was killed, I said 'I manifested your name to the men whom you gave to me out of the world. THEY WERE YOURS and you GAVE THEM TO ME, and they have kept your word.' In the beginnig, my Father was the only Savior for Israel. When I BECAME the Savior for Israel, my Father had given them to me. So now I am the Savior of Israel and those with palm branches in their hands have salvation because of me, for I was slaughtered for them."

regarding Acts 4:12. You are correct, there has been no other name GIVEN FROM HEAVEN by which we can get saved. When the Father made the Son our Savior, he limited our "gaining salvation" solely to his name. So that there is NO OTHER possible way that we can get saved unless it is in Christ. The ONLY name that has been "given under heaven by which we can get saved."

back in late 1973 when i got my fatal doubts about the wtbts, i was sure that the society would crumble soon after 1975 when yet another prediction failed.

i was not alone with this thought; a british author by the name of stevenson (an exjw that had written an expose) allocated an entire chapter in his book about the likelihood that there would be a very major falling away in 1976 or soon thereafter.. but it didn't happen.

yes, there were several years of consecutive worldwide declines.

It pleased the Father that "all things would be IN his Son." He gave his Son "all authority in heaven and on earth."

He gave his Son the authority to "sit on God's throne" and also sitting personally at the right hand of God.

He gave him all authority in heaven which means:

He has the authority to recieve worship, prayers, spirits of men, forgive sins, beget 'sons' by holy spirit, pour out holy spirit, hinder all from coming to the Father unless it is by Him alone, etc.

All the authority that the Father has, he has given to the son. Only between the Son and Father alone, does the Son choose to subject himself to the Father. But we cannot approach the Father unless the Son personally brings us.

When Hebrews speaks of how unique Jesus was when he said: "This is my son, today I have become your father", he was uttering the words at the time of the creation of Jesus Christ. That is, that day, Jesus became his son.

When the angels were created, were they not sons of God then?

but then if they were, when did he say:

"You are my son[s]

I today, have begotten you?"

He NEVER said it. Therefore, they are NOT "sons." You have been MISLED

Begotten - to procreate or generate offspring. a "generated" one.

Even though the angels were created by God, along with all things, none of them had been "begotten" by holy spirit. None of them had been "filled" so as to be an actual "son" to the Father, except one. for if they HAD been "begotten" by holy spirit in addition to their being created, then they would "fully know God." But do they?

Matthew 11:27

Says they do not. That is why Jesus is said to be really, the only one "born from God." And we who love the one who has been "born from God" are ADOPTED by that spirit (if he chooses to) and are begotten by holy spirit by means of the Christ.

Christ is the firstborn, and at the time he uttered John 3:16, no one had been "generated" by holy spirit except him. After his resurrection, he went forth choosing and begetting "sons" for his Father. Anyone who would choose "good" over "evil."

The Christ did not adopt the angels, but he adopts Abraham's seed.

Just as our Lord did not set up an "organized church," but walked from village to village declaring the good news about the kingdom in heaven, so also those who belong to him do not "belong" to an organized church, but go forth declaring good news about the kingdom IN heaven from village to village.

They "are" the church and are 'scattered about' the earth. They do not have a building of which they "meet" in, because they do not "practice their righteousness before men" and also because their body is the temple, and holy spirit lives inside them.

It is this "temple" that they enter to behold the face of the Holy One of Israel, because the holy spirit that lives IN them, makes it possible.

They don't worship physicaly in a building, but rather "in spirit and in truth."

The Lord told his disciples to "keep on the watch" because they do not know the hour in which the Master was arriving. This, as you can see, applies to all of us who are his disciples.

Luke 12:32-40

Then Peter asks him:

"Lord, are you saying this parable to us, OR TO ALL?"

And what was his answer?

"Who REALLY IS the faithful steward, the discreet one, whom his master WILL appoint over his household (check your Greek) to keep giving them food in due season?"

yes, who?

"Happy is that slave, if his master ON ARRIVING finds him doing so. Amen I say to you, , he will appoint him over ALL his belongings."

Has the Master arrived yet?

It says in the event that the Master arrives, the slave that "said in his heart 'My master delays' " will be punished and "cut in two" and will have his part assigned with the hypocrites and unfaithful ones. He will be beaten with many strokes.

Luke 12:46, 47

Tell me, did that happen yet? Obviously then, the Master has NOT arrived yet. Also, Paul says,

"for as often as you eat this loaf and drink this cup, you keep proclaiming the death of the Lord UNTIL HE ARRIVES."

1 Corinthians 11:26

Paul simply said "until he arrives" and in Luke, Jesus simply said "until the Master arrives."

Now, the Lord said although the world would no longer behold him, his disciples would behold him, and because he lives, his disciples will live.

John 14:18, 19

This occured immediately after his resurrection and CONTINUED down to this day, and WILL continue, like he said, "until the consumnation of the age" or "conclusion of the system of things." During this time that he is with his disciples, his disciples behold him, hear him, talk to him, just like they did while he was on the earth. The difference, only his disciples could behold him. The world could not.

Matthew 28:20

The only other "arrival" mentioned is when after tribulation when the "sign of the Son of Man APPEARS IN HEAVEN and he comes on the clouds with the angels having GREAT GLORYand all the tribes of the earth beat themselves."

It is THIS arrival in which he "gathers his chosen ones" and he reveals not only the true 'sons of God' but also his "faithful slave" who has been giving "true food, and true drink" to the household.

It is also this event where the wicked servant is "cut in two" and assigned with the hypocrites.

The 'household' of God, of whom this servant gives "true food and true drink" to, is made up of the sons of God. It is no building, no religion, just ones who are truly led by God's spirit and thus, are God's sons. "We are the HOUSE of that One."

Romans 8:14
Hebrews 3:6

The household is made up of those who are 'anointed by his holy spirit' and because of that BELONG to Christ. Such ones eat the "true food and true drink" which is "the true food that came down from heaven so that ANYONE may eat of it and NOT die."

John 6:50-55

And this servant will be revealed when our Master arrives IN HIS GLORY to give according to each one INDIVIDUALLY his reward.

hi everyone, i was just wondering exactly what it is jehovah is supposed to have done that is 'loving'??.

howcome it is the 'preachers' that fear feeling bloodguilt when it is much easier for jehovah to do what they would do??.

the only thing that jehovah supposedly does to help, is reaveal stuff to the 'annointed ones', and let's face it, he doesn't do a good job of that, need i explain?!?!!.

Oh, and just so you ALL know....

'ARMAGEDDON PLANS' was not, and is not designed for most of you on this board. The war AT har-mageddon is designed for the "kings of the earth" (NOT political kings) the wild beast, and the false prophet.

It is designed not for the "world" but a PART of the world. And this "part" of the world is the "part" that MASSES TOGETHER as one against Jah and against his anointed one[s].

This "part" of the world is the one that WANTS to wage war against Jah and his anointed, after seeing who they REALLY are.
