Without the terrorist boo-hoo! there can be no "give us more money and power to defend you better!". The US government needs a strong Middle East because that means strong terrorist organizations and cheap oil. No one will waste his own reserves while it is possible to drain others. The only problem are the Chinese. They are strong, numerous and pretty rich. The world balance of power is shifting rapidly. USA will become no.2 in less than 20 years.

Well, the USA had a lot of eerie friends in the past...then they became enemies. Saddam, for example, was their beloved champion when Irak was at war with Iran, a few decades ago. When his services were no longer needed...the noose. If I were Ghaddafi, I'd avoid at any cost being called "a friend" of the US.

Assembly changes
by d ini was wondering what changes have you seen with assemblies now.compared to assemblies in the 1950's..

I left the BORG last year and here in Romania things looked like this:
1. Assemblies were goddamn boring.
2. There was no restriction with the toilet paper.
3. There was always a waiting line at the women's toilet.
4. There was a lot of pushing and shoving when entering into the assembly area, but no stampede.

Everything feels broken
by Sapphy inhi all - beware, long post comming up!.
i've always been a person who 'needed to know'.
as a born in i felt incredibly lucky that my parents and grandparents had found 'the truth' - no need to struggle to 'break free from babylon's bondage' for me!

There is a Bible verse that holds in it a world of wisdom: "You will know the truth and the truth will make you free". Now you know the truth about religion and God and you tasted freedom.

The Great Day Of Jehovah is Near!!
by wannabe in{revelation 16:15}.
{matthew 24:7}.
the governing body of jehovah's witnesses will tell us that matthew 24:7 was fulfilled in the year 1914, but such could never be true.

He's a lean, mean prediction-machine! His life will and one day and his predictions will die with him. And Jesus will never come on the clouds. What a waste of a perfect mental insanity!

Why Would YOU Never Go Back To The Witnesses?
by minimus ini think my mains reasons would be i don't believe they have "truth".
and i refuse to allow them control over me..
-

Because I lost my faith in Jay Hoover, Jesus, the F&D Slave and the Bible. Because I want to die free and because the Truth is the Big Lie.

So me, of all people, had a religious experience
by sabastious ini was sitting in my garage, as i often do, to chill out and i actually ended up becoming angry.. so here i am, in my garage, kicking it on the stool for the drum set that is in there (i am a pianist/composer, not a drummer).
i start to think about all the crazy stuff that transpires on this planet.
we have all seen shows and heard stories or maybe even witnessed events that don't add up.

Demonstrations From the Platform
by DarioKehl ingood evening, all.... still relatively new here so if i'm posting about a topic that's already been run into the ground, i apologize.
but i just wanted to acknowledge the typical "demo" we all see at meetings, assemblies and conventions.
even back when i was a good-goody teen dub, my brother, friends and i would jokingly refer to demos as "5-minute illustrations on how to say 'no.'".
