i'm off work today and its a monday morning.
a male and female jw just knocked on my door, i opened it, the guy just handed me their latest website promoting tract saying "hi, were just leaving these with people today", and then he made to leave.
i looked at the tract and then looked at him as he was turning to walk away and said to him "ok, thanks, but ummm you could've just left it in my letterbox.".
This saves paper at least in two ways and some forest may be saved for future refreshment.
1. If you would refuse they can offer the same piece of paper to next person
2. If they would just make a mailbox round they would be enormously quicker and get lots more tracts out.
I thank them for this nature preserving choice of method.

I think this should be considered in the same way as watching porn. If it is regular mono/heterosexual sex they show there it should be ok, you just loose your precious privileges. But if they show abhorrent forms of sexual behaviour then you are subject to JC at least. I must admit I am not a regular visitor in strip clubs, have just seen the concept in several criminal series in TV. Mostly it seems there is just one girl undressing, but maybe they are imaging just a cleaned up version of what is going on in those clubs. Ofcourse if it gets physical that is totally another story.

born in here and have been awake to ttatt for 3 months now and keeping it to myself is killing me.
i do not want to da as i have many close friends and family in.. .

This worked for me
1. I do not find it reasonable to try to convince her that there is fault in her religion. It is her faith and I have mine.
2. I told her that I have issues but do not want to discuss about it directly. I proposed that I tell my views in a letter and she can read it at convenient time.
3. I wrote my letter, telling the whole thruth about my thinking and that I will still love and respect her. I encouraged her to respond with letter rather than taking risk for oral dispute.
4. She did respond after which we then had a discussion in stress-free setting.

the method i used lol.
1) be a good servant and make sure your wt and pub are always underlined every meeting(great for appearances).
2) comment every meeting(a "sure way" to know someones "spiritually qualified").
Sounds way too complicated.
Just kidding had a great suggestion, another quick lane is marrying some high ranking "officers" daughter. It's like when Mr. Nobody marries a royalty's daughter, he will be fixed with some pompous title sooner than later.
Depending on on your "morale" it could ofcourse make executing point 6 somewhat more complicated.

the watchtower moan about copyright when people quote or display the shepherd the flock book, but those big margins are there for the info they dare not write in ink, the juicy bits!

At least in Europe it seems widely be accepted that you may quote any literar work as long as you keep it short and refer to original source. To those handwritten notes there are two categories in my understanding. Are you just writing down what you heard in a presentation or are you making personally thought notes that raise the bar to individual piece of literar work? To be able to quote to those handwritten notes in correct way you should be able to refer to the originator of that note, Brother Smith stated this in his speech on.... Brother Warren states in his notes that..... . By default those notes are equally copyrighted but obviously the originator do not need to be the one writing them down.

In the modern society where divorces and separations are daily bread this should not be difficult to understand. Father and mother used to be together, and got this child. Now they are separated. Father had a relation already before meeting the mother, thus having another child. For some reason this son from Father's first relation and spouse from second got interested in eachother and are now engaged. It is not at all difficult.

jesus, however, said that in the resurrection there would be no marriage or giving in marriage.
Technically no problem here. Adam was really alone from human point of view before Eve. In paradise there are lots of people around=you are not alone.Two separate issues here one being alone, one getting complement.

the pioneer service school will now be only one week, monday thru saturday.. it will consist of 40 hours of instruction and illustrations/presentations.. the reasong given is that this will make it more accessible to the pioneers for due to work schedules and for congregations having to sponsor and support the school.. it will make it easier on everyone and those who haven't attended in the last five years may be able to attend this school with the new curriculum.. .
what do you feel would be included in the new curriculum.
probably more worship of the governing body and they don't need two whole weeks to get this across.. .
Sad, sad news. Many young zealous witnesses will now miss the golden opportunity to party hard two weeks in row, away from home and your regular congregation.
