thats true 215, I remember when we would study then is finished the mystery. babylon the grat has fallen. we would sigh, it was sooo deep and we did not want to go through it as it was muddy anyway to make you so confused that you just gave in and did not question for fear of having to study more. now the dubbers in an effort to hang on tighter to the rank and file. have given them less to scrutinize. and they have no way to understand what they believe littleone questions form outside. the rise and fall of the golden age.

At first I thought that they were mormons. they said that they were dubbers. and started to explain the religion, I stoped them and said that I was a dubber for 30 years.

they were shocked, As I started to explain that I left because of unanswered questions. of 607 bce. and explained the situation as best I could as it is a little complicated.

They just said that eveyone had to search for them selves, turned and went back to the dubber mobiel.

It more sad than fun seeing young people who have no idea of what they are doing.

my husband is getting baptized in 3 weeks.

i have had some tell me to expect some big changes.

as of now, i am agnostic...probably will be for the rest of my life.

In my experiance with the borg, outwardly the do not advocate divorce. but they do help the new one to slowly grow apart form the unbeliving mate.

Also the new one will feel the air of superiority over others not in the cult,including the unbeliving mate,this will put a heaver stress on the marrage.

The new ones in the cult have such a tunnelvision that nothing will divert them form their goal of being a good dubber. this will also leave the unbeliving mate outside looking in. a very hard situation for a marrage.

The stress will make the marrage impossible so one of two things will happen. eather the unbeliver will join to conform, or will leave the beliving mate. if the later happens then the blame can be put squarly [as far as the borg is concerned] on the unbeliving mate. eather way the borg wins. its a loose loose situation.

the only good outcome is if the beliving mate can be shown that the cult is wrong in its beliefs and doctrin. this is very hard as they are admonished to not hear anything against the belifes of the org.

This is why when people I know have a mate that is about to study with a dubber,I stress very hard that the danger is so great. It will start with why dont you just go to a meeting with me. the brothers are so nice. you will have a good time. the next thing you know the christmas tree is out the door,no birthdays,and you are knocking on doors on your day off. the kids have a date to pionere when they are 14. and you wont add the addtion to the house as the end is so close, and all vacations coencide with assemblys. very depressing.

I dont think that we should propetuate calling ourselves apostates even in joke. It only reinforceses the dumb and dubbers thinking. I have become an agnostic after leaving the org. and I feel that it is the only true way to look at things, as ag's say that they just don't know. and realy none of us know how we got here, why we are here, we can have a feeling but that is just what it is a feeling. the dubbers are only concerned about one thing. not our everlasting life, not the health of the congergation. it is the same old story that man has been concerned about for centurys, control over fellow man. goverments , religon, cults. they all want control over others. and in this cult all you have to do is say not today. we are all stocked up on crazy here today. sell it some where else. We are not apostates, and I doubt if their are any such thing. and there are certainly none here. At brooklyn there are a lot of control freeks. and that is the danger. How long before some old fart like henchel dies [ I know he is dead] and a jim jones takes over and starts handing out the koolaid? and the blind that follow drink it down.

carl kunde dies at silverdome

my old partner daryl kunde's father died at the silverdome assembly last week.

it seem's kind of ironic but about 11 years ago when i was still going to the assemblys, we were at the silver dome and 8 old people collapsed from the heat.

[there is not air in the dome] this made me mad and i vented to daryl the monday after the assembly.

last year they told the people from the platform that they sould not drink or eat during the session. I guess this year they told them to drink through out the session to keep form dehidrating. see how the light gets brighter and brighter. drink in due session.

He has my sympathy's too. But the ironey is still present, I used to argue with daryl about his older brother, He was dfed. about 25 years ago for living with a girl he eventualy married and had children with.

He used to visit the family untill the hard line against df'ed children came down from the ivory tower

That is when gene and carl and daryl and karen [his sister] stoped talking to him.

I used to ask daryl wile we worked[ we installed carpet and flooring] what he would feel if he came to the conclusion that the tower was wrong and he let them tell him and his family to treat his blood like shit.

He said it was his brothers choice to leave the family,I shot back that no, it was his brothers choice to leave the religion,the family left his brother. he said nothing for the rest of the day.

Daryl is very self absorbed in the high you can get from the attention that comes from getting up in front of a dumbhall full of other mind numb people and getting a golf clap after reading and outline.

I used to tell him wile working that being an elder is about as prestigous as being head of the local book club.

All the years we worked togeather he never told the other elders about my apostacy, before you go and say wow he had a good hart. we made good money installing flooring about 75k each a year. and the van and the tools were mine. so do the math. money talks and hova walks.

He told me very curtly that they did not have to come to the assembly and that it was there desision to go, and thair problem. I wonder how he feels now that his father died in the heat of the silver dome. do you think he feels that it was his desision? I know that is kind of harsh but that is what I felt when he told me that about the 8 people taken from the dome 11 years ago.

i'm sure all of us were loyal at one time to the watchtower, believing in all of it.

(some of us probaly hated it from day one as well but, ).

what were some of the first things that happened or were said, that made you to start doubting it and beginning the loss of your loyalty to the organization ??????.

Growing up in the org. I did not even think to question. till I read an artical that witnesses can not use any form of self defence. since I have a concealed weapons permit. and would use my fire arm to defend myself or some one else if needed,

I was upset that the dubbers in brooklin were more concerned about good press than the rank and file. so I wrote the letter dept. a letter with questions. In the back of my mind I knew that they in their infanite wisdom would tear me to shreads and show me the error of my thinking. The big sruprise was they were so shallow in thair arguments it was pitifull.

This made me more bold to question, around the same time came the internet. with this tool, the sky was the limit to what I could learn.

This started a several letter campaign that ended in my finding out that taz used piromids to calculate dates, that every thing he tought was wrong in todays thinking, that the dates have been changed for 135 years, 607, ect.

Then the anger, outrage at having belived in the silly man behind the curtian, not going to collage, the millitary, in essance living my life.

And they still have the balls to come around now and again and give me the [we are so sorry to see the course your life has taken] look.

I would like to smack them up side thair head and rub thiar nose in gential times reconsidered, like a dog that just went wee in the corner.

But that is just me.

well, i got my march visit in june.

two elders that i have known for a very long time showed up at my house today, to ask what my intention was with reguard to riligion.

and that it has been said that i have been saying things against the org.

How's this hamas.btw I am not sure about your user name. very bad sort these terrorists. the elder I grew up with, zac guardner, was the one about several years ago that I said that the org. was like the scientoligests. That went over like a lead balloon. the second elder butch rep was the one who called me right after and I told I knew where he lived, and he would be the first I would come to if I wanted to talk religon. and that he was not welcome to come to my house to talk religon. but if he wanted to use my shooting range he was welcome. but no religon. that was about 5 years ago. I dont think I gave the farm away. as I just questioned them and said that I read this or that on the net. I know they dont like any one reading Info on the net. and it is hard to prove that it is apastate. they will come back and this time I will be more prepared for them. the cought me off guard. ie. working up in my barn. next time the sand bags will be set and the m-60 on tripod and no quarter given.

I have not steped into a kingdumb hall in over 9 years. this was sparked by some one telling [suposedly] that I was dissin the org. mostly i told them I did not know. I was confused. but that I had heard all these questions on the net about 607. taz using the pirimids for date setting. why if taz was the only one on earth that was doing the good work, would you be dfed for teaching any thing he tought? I was given the same old shit about the light getting brighter and brighter. I replied that this light started at pentacost so by the time taz took the helm it should have been sun like. not all fuc$ ed up. and that it is important to know for sure as you make desisions for your kids as to playing in sports going to collage ect. based on the end of the world being so close. funny the one elder zac guardner his daughter graduated last weekent and was vladicktorian [spelling?] this was a no no when I grew up. also she is going to davenport collage to be an accountant. this was a big no no as you should be pioneering or applying to bethal. and as far as I know it still is. I wounder if he was conflictd when I told him about making the desision to not go to collage as the end was so close? any way they left the one elder [butch rep] took the 607 questions and said that he would look up the information. I told him I already called the socity direct and they sent me what they had to back up 607, the olympic dates. I have fairly good the dates and how arived at for 607 and the secularly confirmed date 586 7 destruction of the temple by nez the second. and the dubber arrived at from 537 the date cirus freed the jews to rebiuld the temple, 70 years counting back gets to 607.. but the olympic games dates I have not had a chance to try to absorbe the info. so if any one has why this is a bogus reasoning on the 607 back up. Please post why and give detailed dates and reasonings so I can defend my self when the borglets come back. I have been a dubber for over 35 years. and out for 9. He called me and asked me what would happen. I told him that as far as I knew if they wanted to do an action they would have a judiciary commity and call him in. He said he would not go.I told him that would result in dfing. but their is one chance if he did not wnat to be dfed. that is to say that because of his migrain headaces his alturnitive dr. gave him herbal cigarettes to smoke. I have what is called herbal gold[ no not pot] they are made up of marshmallow yerba,santa,damiana, passion flower,jasmin and ginseing.at minimum this will confuse them and they will have to send for help to clarify the situation. and he would probely get off with a no this is not acceptable so you will have to stop. the counter argument is that a dubber can not take drugs for pleasure but for medical purposes they can take all sorts of euphoric giving drugs if perscrieb.so time will tell.
