We should all take note and be prepared to wack a jw when the chance comes up. we will not know when it will so like the boy scouts of america says "be prepared" as far as the comments go about not wanting to thing about mothers in service getting wacked in service. only thing I can say If you cant stand the heat get out of the kitchen baby.

Ran into two JW's in service today, I was on !!!, it was classic !!!
by run dont walk inwell, for some reason i was up extra early today, understand i am night person and usually sleep to 11 or so today i was up at 9 and decided to take the dogs out before it got to hot outside.
i hadn't been gone 3 minutes and as i came out of my street onto another i bumped into 2 jw's (females) getting out of their suv.
they asked do you have a couple of minutes.

Did anything a householder said ever make an impression on you?
by Alleymom incoming at this as a householder rather than an ex-jw, i'd love to hear from any of you about comments from householders that made an impression on you, back when you were active in the door-to-door work.
since the jw's first knocked at my door 13 years ago, i've done my best to give them something to think about every time they knock at my door.
i always introduce myself by name and try to get their names.

I had a partner for 12 years that was an elder, we used to install flooring of all sorts for a living togeather. once we had a former witness we were working for,try to tell him about why the dubs were wrong. he had a book on witnesses and asked if daryl would like to read it. kunde goes I already know everything in that book, I could not let it go. I said dont lie you never have read anyting that was against the witnesses. the guy [this was so funny] walks tward daryl trying to hand him the book saying just take a look at it. I at the same time was saying he cant even touch it he could get dfed.daryl kept backing up shaking his hands and his head till his back to his surprise hits the corner with a thud. every one stoped. and I started to laugh. daryl was pissed and the home owner started to laugh.

I can remember this one old man would buy the tower and go to the front windo and knock till he got our attention and tear them up. we used to think it was funny as we did not care about any of it we were just going through the motions as it was what mom and dad wanted us to do. after we got a little older I used to have to buy the elders son's penthouse as I was old enough, they would stay over after a sat. service and keep me up all night with a flashlight reading [galking] and those naughty girls

Which way will the Society go because of the Internet?
by be wise ini've only learned the truth about this society over the last 5 months or so, so i'm not sure what the difference is to say - 2 years ago.
do you think the society will now get even more cultish in it's methods of teaching and more heavy handed if they feel things are slipping?
i don't feel i'm being over the top here because i've experienced very heavy handed talks at the assemblies and kingdom hall in the past that are just plain scare tactics but this just makes people ask more questions ??

the problem it that they breed their new members. and the kids dont have a chance as mom and dad are the smartest in the world.
Im sure jim jones members kids thought that their parents were the smartest right down to drinking the koolaid. just makes me sick that people can be so asssanine. puttng old farts in brooklin that have never seen a vagina before family.
even when they get older I have personaly seen many many ones that did not quite fit in and not go to meetings but also not live their lives as they felt giulty for not doing more.
and how about the ones who dont fit in but still go. every hall has a few at least. they stand in the back with hands in pockets waiting for one of the cool ones to talk to them.
It always reminded me of animal house when the new pledges went to omega house " Hi this is mandy peprage,doug nedermire,rouel, and the bling guy. sit down and get to know each other. wile the cool cats strut around like paper assholes that they are. makes me sick. I have to take a anti acid right now.

carl kunde dies at silverdome
by kilroy2 inmy old partner daryl kunde's father died at the silverdome assembly last week.
it seem's kind of ironic but about 11 years ago when i was still going to the assemblys, we were at the silver dome and 8 old people collapsed from the heat.
[there is not air in the dome] this made me mad and i vented to daryl the monday after the assembly.

when I was a kid we used to go to the 8 day yes 8 day in a noncovered arena in canada.
This was before sunscrean, the burns and news papor hats, mothers trying to cover the babys from the son.
Do you really expect anything more form a org. that said that vaxcines were from the devil and that aluminium was the devil's metal?
They have been cracking off $hit for 135 years and the rank and file still follow them.
I have no sympathy for the people that after all these years cant or wont see the bull crap they eat every day and say mmmmm more please. the really bad part is the kids that dont have a chance to live.

I have always went to the fire works in michigna. with elders son's.
when I moved to fla. arcadia cong. [what a fu#k up congergation that one was beyond the norm] donna martin [sister mind numb and over zellous] had a debate in the dumb hall.
all about would it be ok for a witness to watch the fire works form thair house. or would it be the same as going to see them.
what a load of shit. All I have to do is think of all the wasted gray matter over the years and I am determined more than ever to never go inside one of those halls again, unless it is to kick some dubber ass.

Furuli's New Books--Attempt to Refute COJonsson
by ros ini just heard that the norwegian watchtower apologist, rolf furuli, who esteems himself a biblical scholar of semetic languages, has completed the first of two volumes he plans to publish on the societys chronology, assyrian, babylonian, egyptian and persian chronology compared with the chronology of the bible.. title of this first volume is: persian chronology and the length of the babylonian exile of the jews.. i hear that although carl olof jonsson is not mentioned by name, or reference made to his book "gentile times reconsidered," it is nevertheless apparent that these volumes are an attempt to refute jonssons excellent study which has exposed the watchtowers 1914 date as total folly.. .

As far as I am concerned, put carl o. asside, the question that is still begged is then how come the jw's are the only ones in the world who date the destruction of the temple of jer. to 607 and all other studies by religous or non date the destruction to 586-7. this is what started carl looking in to the problem in the first place.

Did Any Of You Ever Believe In The Explanations Of JW Prophecy?
by minimus inas a born and raised jw, i was taught that not only did we have the truth but we also had the keys to understanding of bible prophecy.
i was able to explain the gentile times timetable, the reason for 1914,etc.
but there came a time when i really came to appreciate that i had no real foundation for these "truths".

I for one believed because I was told so. I liken it to the mom and dad cant be wrong so it must be true. then I grew up and found out mom and dad can and frequiently are wrong.
Then I found out that the explinations we were given were not explinations, they were doctrin given as fact,that had no fact to back it up. they never went past doctrin to facts unless it was superficial like hezikias tunnel. [excuse the spelling] any way how do you prove that jesus did or did not come invisible in 1914, It would be just as easy to say the end of the world would come in 1925 or for that matter 1975 errr. I guess thats been done.

thats true 215, I remember when we would study then is finished the mystery. babylon the grat has fallen. we would sigh, it was sooo deep and we did not want to go through it as it was muddy anyway to make you so confused that you just gave in and did not question for fear of having to study more. now the dubbers in an effort to hang on tighter to the rank and file. have given them less to scrutinize. and they have no way to understand what they believe littleone questions form outside. the rise and fall of the golden age.
