i was wondering especially from some of the old timers out there jw's or ex-jw's that really understand the jw's concept of the reserrected dead during the 1000 reign of jesus christ.
do they believe that the people brought back from the dead will have to convert to jw's in order to live on for eternity?
i know this sounds like a stupid question but i was talking to a jw's elder the other day and he told me that people like my grandmother who was a "devout born-again baptist" would have to study and become a jw's in the 1000 year reign before she could enter into paradise.
The dubbers never went into any detail on what will be taught, just that when res. the person will need to accept the dubdom to live forever.
There was the use of the more scrolls to be opened, but they never went into any detail as to what this might be, we are only talking hypo here as it is all bull shit any ways.
have you ever wondered, based upon the artists conception below, how it is jehovah will supposedly "save" the witnesses during his "great day of vengeance(tm)".

i thought of this question as i've been talking to different family members about the situation with my parents and grandmother.
i wondered if they'd get upset by me telling other non-jw family members what was going on.

Yes but they show homes being built with machined lumber, glass, tractors in the field, who refined the gas for the tractor, oil for the transmission, parts for the dam thing, glass takes a factory to make, it the society saying that they will have enough left over from the end of the old world to last infinity? Even in the early 1800's when every one except a select few were farmers in an agrarian society, they still all had second trades, shoe maker,tin smith,candle maker, black smith, and would trade for other goods, the raw materials came from others that mined or refined them. Unless hovah comes down here and gets off his lazy arss there is no way we can live in that type of world.
Or maybe they will say that hovah will use anti matter to keep everything going, but to a dub this is not important, only the myth is important, better to live in a dream than reality, at least till reality hits you in the ass
two observations since leaving the jws:.

in the public talk they have to follow the outline provided by the wt.
I have said many times, when I saw "elders" [for lack of a better work] trying to counsel some one in need of help. that you are not getting help you are getting the opinion of a carpenter or body shop worker, They have not the training or brain to help, instead they try to use the fucked up interpretation of a worthless book or books, that whether or not who begot who makes any difference to any one.
But I have seen it give the elder who is a nail bender by day, a woody at night to lord over some poor weak minded person.
If I had my way we would string up every dubber to all available telephone poles.

When some little brain uses this line of reasoning I.E. the bible says that this city or person lived or was a real place then it was found to be true, so hence jesus walked on water. I use this to refute this silly line of reasoning.
In homers Iliad and odyssey he talks about cities such as troy that was once thought to be fantasy but have proven to be real. and the existence of Agamemnon, does this then prove that medusa turned people to stone, and Achilles was dipped into the river Styx to make him invulnerable? I think not. if that reasoning fails in the latter, it fails in the former

I agree, I saw over the years when people who were not paid, I.E. bethel bors,and pioneers were just given money direct under the table by more well to do bros. I saw this even in a hand shake with 20's.
A cousin of mine that lives at bethal went on trips all over the wolrd, twice a year on the donations he aquired.
But money form the tower? Not in a million years.
Still the gas has got to hurt every one esp. those that live in areas like where I live, I.E. north michigan. when you have to use a half tank of gas to hit several homes at 3 a gallon, OUCH.
