  so i`m sitting at my desk... finding new ways to laugh at the wbt$ on jwn and... i hear a knock on the door... *knock..knock..knock*...... who could that possibly be?...

  i`m in the middle of friggin nowhere!..

  it`s 2 young jw girls 12 or 13... with an invitation to the memorial... .

  yep.

  you read the title correctly.. my daughter is a prosecutor who right this moment is prosecuting a dui crash with major injuries.

  the defendant--the drunk driver--just tried to place an awake magazine with her while both of them were in the courtroom.. .

  My interview with "Truth be Told" filmmaker Gregorio Smith

  i had the pleasure of conducting a telephone interview with "truth be told" filmmaker gregorio smith yesterday.

  he is a fascinating, intelligent person and has an intimate knowledge of the destructiveness the watchtower society has wreaked upon people's lives due to shunning, the blood ban, etc.. some two years in the making, this full-length documentary film entitled "truth be told" seeks to expose the watchtower for what it is.

  a debut screening for the public will take place in brooklyn new york on march 27, 2013. other major cities will follow.

  The CO asked for money tonight at the meeting.

  i was shocked i do not know why as i have read that the co's were doing this but to hear it with my own ears was unbelievable.

  i do not go to the meetings but my husband still does and this week is the co's visit.

  i decided that i would listen in to his talk; i swear i have lost some brain cells by doing it but anywho.. he started out by talking about the old story that has been in the wt many times about a little boy who was seven and raised a chicken and gave the money to the society.

  I ran into an inactive JW at the store we talked for 20 minutes

  i ran into an inactive jw at a department store last night and we talked for 20 minutes easily, it was actually pretty fruitful.

  so here's what happened:.

  i see him and recognized him but he didn't know who i was at first as he hasn't seen me in at least a year and i've lost weight, have a goatee and dress way more awesome than i ever did as a dubb schlubb.. so i said hi to him by name and he says, who are you i'm not sure?

  When I was inactive some years ago, I did try to encourage few people to come back to the organization. I was so brainwashed back then, that happens. I am fairly sure that guy will eventually wake up, just give him some time.

  my experience, and shame on me.

  in a snowstorm in pa on a highway, i ran out of gas.. this was one of many mistakes for the evening.

  the general rule is that a person should stay in the car and wait for help.

  Some years ago, I was driving very fast and there was another driver that also were driving very fast, The other driver did not stop at the 2 way stop sign at all, we just missed each other VERY barely at the intersection. If we did hit each other, both of us would be very dead!
