missing the JWD glory days
by fresh prince of ohio indon't get me wrong, this forum currently has plenty of interesting discussions and posters, but, for those of you who weren't on the old jwd board in the early-to-mid-00s, man...i'm sorry but you really missed out on the glory years of this forum.
it was really a special, unique place then.
again, not dissing the current, but, that huge exciting wave of ex-jw internet activity that occurred in the early part of this century seems to have leveled off.

I told my mom to cook with coconut oil few months ago, she seems to be improving, time will tell if it will continue that way. I have been seeing her about every week. I do not think she is completely cured at least not yet.

Biding her time to strike.
by marriedtoajw ini tell you, it truely amazes me how ignorant i allowed myself to be in regards to the teachings of this religion when my wife and i married over 20 years ago.
i still can't get over it and forgive myself believing her when she told me after we got married that the jw religion wasn't for her.
perhaps because i am now immersed in the consequences of putting myself through this willful ignorance because of a suspicion i had that finding out ttatt is a rabbit hole that would only lead to more questions than answers in the long term.

Is that discrimination for not hiring straight people?
by Iamallcool ini do know one agency (i will not give a clue what kind of agency is it, etc...) that was run by a straight married female and her staff did not have any gay people in it and she quit to move to another state with her husband.
the board of directors hired a gay male to head the staff, the staff slowly quit by one by one for some unknown reasons and he begin to hire gay people to work for him, i now do not see any single straight worker working for him, is that discrimination for not hiring straight people?.

I was just being sarcastic about you being related to dazed. Both of you are acting like each other on this board toward me lately.

I would probably not want to work with them, they might hold resentment against me if I filed a complaint then work there. I just do not think the gay director is right at all. Thats all.
