Well let's see - the 10 toes have to represent the 10 regional divisions being formed thru Illuminati designs - ala Doc Marquis or Vision Reports. LOL. That would just be too funny if they came up with that one.

New Light @ The 2011 District Convention
by dontplaceliterature in" at the bottom of the image on the back of the invitation raises some eyebrows, but last night in the routine district convention article during the service meeting, i caught that one of the paragraphs mentioned that we would be encouraged to keep a copy of the tract in hand for a discussion during sunday's last talk.
my guess is, there is going to be some new revelation about what the "?
" represents, or some other fangled idea.

De-Conversion: Where are you?
by NomadSoul ini thought i shared this post made on http://de-conversion.com.. i'm in #6. indifferent.. .
a person de-converts.... 1) loss.
de-convert feels extremely sad, a sense of loss and remorse, struggling to cope with a worldview without a personal deity.

This is a very interesting analysis of the de-convert process. Thank you for it. I'm pretty much in stages 2 and 3. Hope I never reach the indifference and determination pegs. I will be on the lookout to see I avoid those pegs.

by chasson inin 2002, i had seen an auction on ebay concerning few documents on charles taze russell owning a gold mine in 1916. i had saved the webpage, and believing that it was a knowned issue i didn't care more about it.. .

Which book was the worst? I think I have to vote for Revelation - The Great Climax at Hand. It was a horrendous embarassement for me to admit to new potential converts that this was actually the way the WTS saw itself and then one of the things I remember with great discomfort near the end of my tenure was as we studied it for the 4th time? lost count - but when the section on pedophilia was opened up to the group everyone was so "self-righteous" and seemed just oblivious to their own organization's complicity in the very same sins as were being used to condemn the Catholics. And I felt I had to keep my mouth shut - I nearly didn't! That was a "close call" - if I had opened up the brothers would have had to escort me out. LOL

Does this remind you of any posters?

Yes, indeed - I loved the comedy skit (without meaning any offense for another human's suffering because I myself grew up with autism) - but not only does the skit do a clever job of illustrating what we frequently experience here on this board with certain posters but I couldn't help but feel it also illustrated those inside the WTS in their field service maneuvers - not always but often enough the comparison drew gales of laughter from me.

by exjwza inso my story, just like everyone elses that has left, is one of confusion , hurt, and lots of mixed emotions, .
i was raised a witness, and at the age of 20ish bent to pressure from the elders and got baptised, my heart was never in it, not even as a child, it was more jsut the motions of it, because thats what you were taught your whole life to do.
about a year after being baptised, i met a a young lady that opened my eyes, while she wasnt in my life long, (dont blame her, i had a lot to deal with , family, elders, etc) she was my saving grace, in the "truth" i was depressive, lonely, :( .

Welcome - welcome. My word for you - it only gets better as time rolls on. The day will come when you will look back with laughs and joy you left.

New light on NEW LIGHT
by Terry inwell, it just sort of came to me while i was driving.. the doctrine of new light is a false analogy.. why had i not considered this before?.
here is what i'm thinking; see if you don't agree.... jehovah's witnesses are divided into three distinct tiers of membership.. 1.governing body anointed.
2.clueless anointed.

I Got It!!!!!!!!!!!
You are all Shining Lights! But only if we follow the Father's Light will we get to the right destination. And His is like brilliant Sunshine compared to our own dim flashlight batteries.
