  i thought i would share some of my observations on counting field service time, reports, etc.

  and how those reports are viewed, to those that are still so fixated on numbers.. i served as secretary on the service committee for many years, and have seen it all!.

  i was really disheartened when wt changed the requirement for aux pioneering to allow for 30 hrs, instead of the 50 it has been for so long.

  Welcome Tech.

  My exhusband was an elder. I discovered that he "greatly exaggerated" our time on our time slips. He would tell me, "I turned your time in for you, don't worry.". When the field service overseer visited our book study and showed us our publishers cards, I was shocked! Wow, he had us exemplary publishers. We were low hour publishers in reality. I am sure my ex wasn't the only elder to do this.

  He also told me how his brother, who was a full time brother and pioneer would throw the magazines in his dumpster instead of placing them at the doors. He had a large impressive magazine order each month and also pencil whipped his time report.

  Started a New Job and guess what?

  i recently got hired finally, by a small pest control company.

  well on my first day i rode along with a guy to train and he strikes up a convo about him and his wife being christians.

  he asked me if i go to church and i tell him about my background as a former witness.

  Updated Stickers!!! (Complete with QR Codes)

  i was pleasantly surprised by all the people that wanted stickers for hospitals, laundromats, ...to bring awareness of the real truth on watchtower publications.

  i have modified and updated some content based on a few convo's with some of you since the last set was done.. for those of you who want the new template please send me a pm.

  please include the email that you would like the template sent to.. btw-if anyone has suggestions as to other areas that literature is left that would be great!.

  Where I live, they leave literature at train and bus stations, enclosed covered bus stops, on bus seats, in grocery store entrances (where the free real estate brochures are kept). Of course I also find them in hospital and doctors waiting rooms.

  I would probably be in the crazy house if not for JWN. This site and www.jwfacts.com led me out of the Watchtower hold. I can't say it was still an easy thing to leave, but this took the edge off, keeping it bearable.

  so my mom was telling me that my aunt is going to be hosting a gb member and wife, cos and do for dinner after their dc this summer.

  i immediately blurt out, "that sounds stressful.

  " which is met with dead silence.

  Life after DF/divorce

  i am just wondering how many here have gone through the experience of being disfellowshipped and divorced?

  i am currently in that situation and sometimes i am afraid of what to expect.

  thankfully i have a good core of friends, but nonetheless i still find myself somewhat nervous of what to expect in my new life.

  I just left the organization 2 1/2 yrs ago, and people think it is admirable how I left this religion after having been in it for 56 years. People say I am brave. The opposite sex does not seem to be scared off by my cult past either. Anyone who would not want to become friends with you because of your JW past is probably not worth having in your life.

  You are young, I wish I had learned ttatt at your age. Go for it and make the most of it. Life does begin at 40 you know, it's true. You have a way to go still.

  ...sneaking into my hospital while i'm there and leaving magazines in all my waiting rooms?.

  it's like they have predator suits or something.

  pesky boogers.. by the way, if the person or persons who are doing this ever read on this site please know that i pick them up within 30 minutes of your leaving them.. .

  I don't know about the stickers. I think the Watchtower literature should be distroyed, lest it find it's way into someone 's hands who are vulnerable to cults. When I find the magazines in waiting rooms I always tear them up and throw them away. This happens often.

  Today, everyone has the same opportunity to learn ttatt, at least where there is Internet availability. My old JW friends have all heard the rumors that I am an "apostate.". They do not seek me out, no calls, letters or visits. They are on their own. I have taught ttatt to everyone I really care about.
