  what made you realize it was time to go?

  i've been having health problems for the last few years and instead of any help, i'm listed as spiritually weak and of course associations is only my kids and husband.

  all the good jw's have moved to other congregations and are doing well.

  Just keep saying you are not physically up to coming to the Hall and they will all think you are just getting spiritually weak. Glad you haven't had to endure those long, boring meetings in a month.

  (I have been gone for 3 years and the longer you stay away the more fun it is!!!)

  i have been suffering from fatigue, burning in my stomach, and i have always had canker sore issues as long as i can remember.

  whether it's from stress or not, i can't say, but i might be getting an ulcer.

  the burning in my stomach and intestinal puffiness is getting to be be chronic.

  Coconut oil that is unrefined and raw is a health food. It has lauric acid in it. The only other thing that contains as much lauric acid is breast milk.

  It goes straight to the liver because it is a medium chained fatty acid. It is not stored as fat. It is anti viral and anti bacterial. Try it.

  We were told just attending the meetings and being on the ministry school was the equivalent of a college education.

  Bethelites are right under the nose of the governing body and their lackies. It would have to be as tight or tighteras Bethel. What would the graduates do with their education? They are supposed to pioneer aren't they? An education is not necessary. Besides, Armageddon is coming so soon, they will nevegraduate anyway. They need to be preaching door to door, not getting an education.

  They don't like young people not being closely monitored by the older people. If you put a bunch of young JWs all in the same local without extremely close supervision they will all start fornicating...you know that!

  Also, a degree from a JW college probably would not be viewed as very prestigious.

  Thoughts After Saturday Morning Service

  went out with a good friend in service this morning.

  my spouse and kiddos joined us.

  me and my spouse are awake jws, have gotten over the initial shock and disgust with some of the lame wt doctrine, and are determined to let god direct us wherever he may (even to another church - i'm going to a baptist service tommorow).. we have fun doing a little bit of service with the kiddos, letting them watch deer, play with sticks, and write not-at-homes down.

  I hope you are right about so many thirty-something's and the younger generation being awakened. I hate to think JWs will go on and on.

  JW.org to be banned in Russia

  my facebook was "lit up" today with all the out cries about the possibility of the organization's website being banned in russia.. as many of you recall this past august a court in russia banned the website and sought to make accessing the website in russia illegal.

  well tomorrow the appeal by the org will be heard in court.

  if the appeal is denied, jw.org will no longer be available in that part of the world, causing endless lamentations and cries of "persecution", only to bolster the idea that they are truly hated by the world because they are true christians.
