i just recieved getile times by coj...i ordered it 2 months ago when i was full into analysing dub doctrine...but since then, i just dont care anymore about dub doctrine or refuting it...but its still an interesting read though.i'm going through it v e r y s l o w l y..... has anyone else read some books from here: [url]www.commentarypress.com[/url].

"Witness" health disorders

not to demean any who may genuinely suffer from the following conditions, but it seems that every time the society puts out an article on certain "illnesses", coincidentally there is an increase in the latest fad medical condition among witnesses.. the illnesses i'm referring to are chronic fatigue syndrome (cfs), fibromialgia, burnout, depression, and the latest from awake, multiple chemical sensitivity (mcs).. while there are many who genuinely suffer from these illnesses, it almost seems that people (usually sisters late 30's and 40's) delight in discussing which of these sickness they have.

i figure, either a) if they genuinely have these conditions, a large contributing factor is the "truth" and all of the politics that go along with it as well as the routine.

also stress from things like poor financial planning, also due to past policies of the society.. or b) these illnesses are often conveniently self-diagnosed or difficult to prove and provide nice excuses for staying away from meetings/service, and to take frequent vacations.

Paradise earth or heaven?

it has been said to me "what other organization offers a hope of a paradise earth?

" to "prove" that witnesses have the "truth".. it seems to me that this "spiritual materialism" and the inability to see beyond the physical and fleshly world draw many to become and remain witnesses.. as for me, i fail to see such a fleshly reward set out in scripture and more so i cannot possibly see how anything fleshly could live forever in a problem-free environment.. everything fleshly and physical is temporary and changing.

nothing lives forever.
