  i just noticed today a monumental shift in the awake (well, not really monumental .

  in the "was it designed" section, the closing paragraph up until the april 2012 issue reads:.

  "did the (studied subject) come about by chance?

  Even the "chance" in JW lingo has a mislead connotation.

  They say chance is a single TNT-like explosion came to a Taj Mahal.

  i had been studying with the jehovah's witnesses for the last couple years.

  they have been interesting study sessions and have learned quite a bit about them and their beliefs.

  much of what they teach is what i had learned through personal bible study.. growing up was normal.

  the 4 Gosples were OLd Testament

  in the 4 gospels jesus was alive.so that means they could not be new testament because you cannot have a testament unless the testator is dead.a testament is not in force until after the death .

  also no one could have been saved because there was no shed blood yet.

  The gospels were written after the Paul's letters.

  Paul (or whatever) never knew about the gospels b/c they were not invented yet.

  And the revelation book was a desperate (and very crazy) attempt to seam the OT and the NT.

  Death of Jesus..the best answer?

  ok. i'm not trying to take a stance here (well, i don't think i am.

  ), just pondering things.

  thinking out loud if you will.. i can no longer see why the death of jesus could be evidence of god's love or a sensible answer to humankind's suffering.

  meet up wth an old friend of my parents.

  it was sad, mable in her 80's husband is 91 and falling apart.
