  AM III speech at anual meeting 2021

  just downloaded and watched the am iii speech about expetations about the end.. all i think it is ment to temper the high expetations that the rank and file have build up because of the pandemic.. most jw think that the big end will come now.. gb must be anticipating the anti climax that will come.. it is a very rare speech, i can say, and am iii was in a realistic mood, the audience was laughing and he was thinking "you are idiots", so it seems to me.. g..

  there is a trial currently starting - even funnier than the baldwin nonsense.. yes, everyone's favorite actor, singer and hate crime victim is going on trial.. i am, of course, talking about jussie smollett.

  he's going on trial for lying to chicago police and wasting their time.. he's obviously as guilty as hell, but i just can't wait for this to unfold.. it's gonna be hilarious ....

  Of course they are.

  The MSM are race baiting trouble makers.

  Is it because they think this will make them money?

  Or is there a more sinister, hostile power fomenting this racism behind the scenes, to divide the people before they swoop in an conquer? (Somehow?)

  puctuality..

  a small incident happened to me today that has triggered me to say this.. how many of you have seen that jw are fairly hopeless and being anywhere on time.. an obvious one is the families that never miss a meeting and never miss arriving late with resultant fuss.

  .

  but in day to day things as well.arriving late for a paid job.. leaving early, ditto.. not turning up for a bbq without even a phone call.. being in all things disorganized.. and, how many of you have seen the above become the norm in people once they become jw that were not that way before....

  Can't say I ever noticed that here in the UK.

  Yes. There were some that were late for things but usually everyone was quite punctual.

  Is it a cultural thing where you are in the world??

  I did like 'HELP' and 'A Hard day's Night' when they came out. I'm not sure I'd feel the same way now but it was nice to see Wilfred Brambell in one.

  I still love 'Yellow Submarine' because it's totally nuts and more of a stoner film.

  I went to the cinema to see 2001 when it first came out about 1969. I thought it was epic and mysterious.

  Easy Rider bored me to tears. I think partially because I'm not interested in America or it's culture. Most of my choices are therefore more Brit based because I relate to that.

  Films from the 60s I love and watch over and over...in no particular order...
