Cello,
Girls think about it too!!!
Ana
... then why do girls spend all of their time thinking about whether guys want to have sex with them?.
what a waste of time.. so many girls i have known seem to read sexual desire into every possible male action.
that is what i call sex on the brain, in a bad way!.

ok, you get hold of some of the special blue envelopes the.
society uses for judicial mail from elders.. you get some df/da forms and fill them out perfectly - with.
the name of your least favorite elder as the favored party.
I am ROTFLOLOL's.....
Where would we get the little blue envelopes from???
Ana
look at the blue thing in the door in this picture... at first you won't be able to make it out, so look closely and very carefully.
it may take a few minutes, but eventually you will see what it is.. .
religion stops a thinking mind!.
WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOoooooooo Scary stuff.
Thanks, Elsewhere

i am wondering how many here are often reluctant to post their true opinions on certain subjects to evade being flamed, made to feel lesser than human, or being ganged up on?
i ask this as i have read threads and had things i would have liked to contribute, but feel i have already had so much stress that i cannot take the type of personal attacks that occur here.. before anyone jumps in and attacks that statement, i have had a recent physical illness that has stressed me beyond normal limits.. we have all seen it happen.
then along comes a mr nice guy who sticks up for the attackers.. ana...,of the "just cannot be bothered class".. .
Thanks for all your replies guys and girls,
But this thread was not intended for solely "myself". I am interested in others who feel either intimidatd or invisible. I do not feel invisible, but I hold back a hell of a lot.
Ana
its funny how a phone call from a poster can instantly change ones perception of that person.
i suppose that we all have a mental picture of how other members look and talk, so the reality of a phone conversation with a jwd member can be very interesting indeed.
ive met a few and spoken with others, so, heres my assessment of some of them:.
Lilacs, but we have chatted in Yahoo..and she is bubbly with a lovely Southern lilting accent! She's adorable.
Kenny2, I have talked to in live chat and phone, he is so funny and witty, but with a television commentaries voice, very nice to listen to...and a real laugh!
Goph too...he is a scream!!! And he has a nice speaking voice, in fact Gopher is exactly as I imagined him to be.
Fark..I am going to call next! I really want to talk to Farkel!
Cowboy, I have spoken to...and he is as sweet as he is on the forum.....but wow....what a deeeeep voice.
Victor_E..I have spoken to on the phone, and his personality is funny, witty, full of humor....totally unlike how he displays on the forum. A real breath of fresh air, but extremely intelligent.
Amazing,I would like to chat with him.
Waiting is another I would love to talk to, as is Outnfree.
Kent as well.....
Oh so many!!!!!
Ana....great thread Englishman
and now there is a debate between my father and his sister whether there should be a memorial service at the kingdom hall.. is there a rule whereby an elder who gives a memorial service at a kingdom hall must use the society's outline?
because my father and my grandmother have made it quite clear that he under no circumstances do they want that.
(i'm very blessed to have jw family who do not shun me even with the long hair (yes it is growing back), earring, and, oh yeah, disfellowshipment).
(((((((Cygnus))))))))))
I am so sorry you lost your grandfather. It is always a deep loss when a grandparent dies.
I really hope that you can get a service that you would like for him; one that will allow you to close a chapter with a sense of dignity that is seldom allowed us XJW's.
Kindest thoughts,and deep sympathy,
Ana
well heres my story and i'm sticking to it :).
my grandmother became a witness when my mom was a teenager.
my mom became one when i was 4. that would be in 1954. i remember going to the international convention in ny at the yankee stadium and polo grounds.
Aprostate,
Thankyou for sharing your story thusfar. It is always great to read the exiting experiences of others.
Welcome Aprostate, and sometime drop into open chat and meet some of us live.

Abbadon,
"Basically" I agree with you. But I feel that people are sometimes too fast to call someone a "troll".
The best statement you made was...
Basically, I agree with you, but if someone is provoking then surprisingly enough, they provoke people, and they can just deal with that. If someone states something in a reasonable way, even if it's dumb, there is a good chance of a sympathetic responce. Here I agree 100%.
I am talking about instances where one may say something in agreement with a poster that is "not the flavor of the month" and being flamed up for it.
In other words, having their "own" opinion without feeling like they have to go Baaaaaaaaaaa to the crowd of sheep, just to remain visible.
I have seen a fair amount of "invisibility" on this forum, where posts are not even answered. I speak not of myself, but of others. Yet many will post over and over on a "high profile" posters thread, even if the "newbie", or whatever, has great input.
I now seek out the little answered threads and find little diamonds.
I am talking "balance".
Thanks for a great post, I like your balanced view.
Ana
we have an active poster's thread, so i thought i'd start one for those of you that haven't made a first post yet, and are really wanting to do it.. i would like to welcome all of you that read our posts.
sometimes we write fluffy and silly, other times filled with great information, sorry guys, but other times filled with insults.
so, come on, take the plunge and say hi and i'm sure you'll be surprised at how many warm welcomes you will recieve.. welcome.
Abaddon,
Thanks...good idea actually, but I don't think anyone likes the title "Lurker"...so I may try something else....
Thankyou
Ana
