Cognac, she is 6, in what way is she having difficulty, is it reading/writing/arithmetic or is there a problem with her behaviour? Is this someyhing you have just noticed or did your instincts tell you something was wrong erarlier & you didn't want to admit it to yourself. Sorry I know I`m being blunt.

by cognac inmy parents were always of the belief that, "the end is right around the corner".. i was a zealous kid, with a learning disorder, so my parents never gave me a hard time or pushed me in regards to my education.. this not only hurt me, but, pissed me off insanely.
fast forward to me having my own kid.
ava is not doing well in school.

Hello Drudge, it`s so nice to meet you. Welcome to the forum. Xmas lights a, that`s hilarious. I know JDub`s that get up 4 in the morn on xmas day to get their spot on the beach so they can spend all day in amongst the worldles. I know JDub`s who have xmas at other times of the year just so their spoilt little darlings don't miss out on anything & believe me these kid`s get so much more than the worldly kid`s get. Shower parties where the only thing that is missing is the birthday cake. Where I live everything is about the showy display of ones means of life & what it looks like to others wether worldly or no.

1) Abuse of authority. Use of position for their own benefit, often financial justifying themselves with a we deserve it attitude.
2) Blind Obedience. Must be obeyed before God. They deserve worship.
3) Segregation. Withholding info to all except a few worthy individuals. Estrangement from anyone outside the religion, family/friends this includes shunning, alienation, or persecution.

What the.... I seriously cannot believe the outright cheek after what has been revealed at the ARC. All I can do is laugh at the front they have. They can lie outright to millions of people & then publish a mag about honesty, get the one`s they lie to, to go deliver it to peoples door`s. These men should come with a warning label. God`s chosen one`s, I`m beginning to think they may be the reason he created us with a middle finger.

Just recovering from a 'Mormon Mind Melt' ...

my heart sank as i thought it was local jws.
to my slight relief, it was mormons!

The mormons must be getting something right or getting bigger blessings than the JW`s isn't there like 15 million of them. I remember telling my kid`s about their calendar & how good looking Mormon men had their pic`s taken without their shirts on with a bible in their hand, of corse they didn't believe me till I showed them on the net. They couldn't believe their eye`s. I gotta say they do have some very handsome young men in there. Caused a bit of controversy I believe. -

My dear Morpheus, I do so apologize if you thought my words were directed at you personally I assure you they were not. I just made a statement of how I personally feel about the younger generation. There is a beauty in the simple way children see things as adults when we express an appreciation for that as apposed to correcting them all the time then we encourage them to explore more & learn their own truths be it God or not. This is something the WTBTS neglects to realise, they do not understand Jesus words to become like a child.
I hope that I have explained myself better, I in way wished to suggest you were lacking in humility.
