One other thing, how many of you could write a book in the first place? Perhaps a novel, but nothing as schalorly as what Ray wrote. Try it sometime and see how well you do. I am disgusted at those who go after Ray. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

I am very tired of those who attack Ray Franz. I retired at the age of 60. That was the same age that Ray was kicked out of Bethel, with no benefits. Yes, there are others his age that faced poverty. However, Ray wrote a magnificant book, a book that changed many lives. The book is low priced, so cough up the money and buy one. When any of you write a book, I won't ask for a free copy. I will pay for it.

Was it the questions or the answers. I would have to say it was the answers given by Russell and Rutherford. I mean, come on, they wrote a lot of silly answers. If you haven't done this, go back and read their drivel. You might also, go to Lady Lee's best of category, where I write about the foolishness of these two "Bible Scholars."

I was just read an email about me and the writer had several questions that I would like to address. As he knows, I am 63 and left 40 years ago. His first question was why did I leave? It seems to me that people leave for one of two reasons - interpersonal or doctrinal. I had no interpersonal problems. I liked the people in my Kingdom Hall. I left because of doctrine. I went to used book stores and read the early works of Russell and Rutherford. It was a totally different religion back then. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ His next question was if my life would be different if I had remained a Witness. You betcha. I went on and got a Ph.D. No, I am not a retired window washer. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ His next question was if my family talks to me. Well, at my age, most of my family is dead. My sister didn't talk to me for 15 years. Then, we had to deal with my mother's illness and death. I guess she figured out that me and my wife were pretty good after all. Since then, we talk an a regular basis. His last question was answered above, I think. Am I alone as far as family goes. Well yes, because of age and being dissasociated. However, my wife and I have created our own family, and now I have three children and three grandchildren. Hey, we have a good time.

Rutherford Exposed: The Story of Berta and Bonnie
by Farkel init was made by a women who in later years wore crotchless panties and bras which had holes in the nipple areas.
he not only knew the woman in question (she's now deceased), he has met her numerous times.
up until recently this secret of her year's long sexual affair with rutherford was kept by the family.

Farkel and I are good friends. I don't know what he wrote. I didn't get a chance to see it. I know that Farkel is very bothered by this subject, as I am. Earnest, I like you. You can disagree with me and Farkel, yet you remain civil. I appreciate that.

Well, I have been out longer than many of you have lived. I am 63, and left 40 years ago. I came here it contribute and read other people's stories. Over the years, there where times when I did not give a thought to the religion. There were other times when I had to think about it, since my sister and my wife's sister are still active members. I come here for another reason. If the subject of the JWs comes up in ordinary conversation, it will last about 5 minutes. Here, I can discuss the subject at length, as can others.

Leolaia, thank you for the information from the 1920 Census. Somehow, I missed that in my geneological research. I guess I assumed that they moved around 1922, and didn't check the records. From what you posted, it is likely that the George she was living with was her brother. One question: did the Census record list her occupation? Last but not least, I want to thank you for doing the research you have done. I think it helped establish my credibility as to what I wrote. It also gives credability to the report of Berta's confession, since she died in the same city as was mentioned in the report of her confession.

Hey Chevy, where I live in southwestern Ohio, we call it Cincinatti chile. We eat it about once a week. Along with the stuff you described, drizzle a little hot sauce on the top.

OK Earnest, in the 1930 census, Berta was listed as a clerical worker. Now, it is possible that that in the next seven and half years, that she became a dietician. It could happen. Funny thing is that this amazing transformation was never discussed in the family. I find that odd.

Earnest, regarding Berta's credentials as a nurse and dietician, Bonnie lied as did many others in their testimony. Berta was not either a nurse or a dietician before coming to Bethel. She was a clerical worker - nothing more that that. On another note, Berta was not a Bible Student for 20 years before the trial. She was living in North Carolina in 1920, and had not been converted yet. This another example of Bonnie's lies or exagerations.
