it's been the local needs.

EP, you have a lot of strength. Just the thought of walking through Kingdom Hall doors has my molecules screaming. I honestly don't think I would be able to do it, even for a memorial talk. I'll show up at the funeral home and leave quickly. The simple thought nauseates me. I feel for your pain.

i did a bible study for a while and of course, at christmas i had a big tree and all the trimmings.
i have some nude sculptures in my house and angel sculptures on my lawn, plus lots of religious shrines around my house that my friend who is an artist makes and gives to me.

I didn't generally say much. I understood my studies weren't witnesses and were still learning. We may have mentioned things at times and wondered if you would progress to cleaning it all up. I wasn't the judgemental type though. I suppose it just depends on the personalities at your door.

It makes no sense at all. If these people are so 'dangerous", so 'poisonous' then they would be so in or out of the home! To fully validate this 'rule' they'd have to separate from the poisonous one. in the home But they don't. So there is no problem at all. They can't argue for their current stand.

The 2 Witness Rule And Divorce
by minimus injehovah's witnesses talk about the need for a minimum of 2 witnesses to prove a matter as fact.....if a child tells his parents that brother love "touched" him where he should not have, unless 2 witnesses can attest to the accusation and saw the alleged action, the elders will do nothing about it if the accused states it never happened.. meanwhile, if a jehovah's witness wife told the elders that her unbelieving husband admitted to her that he had committed adultery, and there were not 2 witnesses,only her word, if the elders believed her, she could write a statement for the elders stating her situation and she would then be free to remarry in the future!.
as long as the elders believed her and accepted what she said as truth, she would be free to marry another and not be guilty of adultery, per the scriptural rule.. double standard, methinks!.

Bella, did you want to add a "but" to you comment. Something like, I don't like her "BUT" I don't want her to be sick either?
Another problem with rare or orphaned illnesses is that even effective treatment can be incredibly expensive. I have one of those, and the medicine is astronomical. I'm glad she has health care coverage, life would be a nightmare without it.
