last week i asked for advice for a relative who had left her husband.. well, yesterday the elders called on her, in her new place, in another congregation's territory, so her husband must have given them her address.. she thought it was the mailman, so opened the door, surprised to see the elders.
she told them this was not a good time, and one said "can we come back later?
so he says, "are your refusing to meet with the elders, then?
How difficult that has to be. Standing up in front of people that you've been brainwashed into thinking you have to be in subjection to. I also think she's going to be great. Can she come over here when I get my elder visit?????

i used to be a witness for two years before fading away, leaving quietly.
i was not disfellowshipped and i did not write a letter of dissasociation.. the way i got babtised was such that noone from my congragation saw it since the babtisees were taken by buses from the convention to a private swimming pool.

well, my husband found out about my affair (yes, i gave in to the temptation with the soccer player and while it was fantastic, it's over now) and it's been a devestating time, we almost got divorced, but we're working through it.
i knew telling friends and this board wasn't going to help me fight his romantic advances, but i tried.
it was a one time thing that would have continued, but i wasn't too careful about the clues (guilty conscience i think).
Wife number one wanted to do that. We did try and to be honest I enjoyed it for awhile. But the marriage only lasted 3 years. After I became "second hand single" I was with a couple of married women who had open marriages. Each of their marriages also failed eventually. While I'm sure it can succeed, it certainly has to put a relationship to the test.

we've been invited to a christmas party monday night and i'm not sure what the protocol is.

Tweetie it is good to wear clean underware. I went to my first Christmas party this year and boy was I embarressed. I would have preferred to undress in the dark, but they had the lights on high.

any way, he spoke of the events of the last year, how they were significant, about the brothers going to the trade center and offering comfort from the scriptures, while priests and ministers only offered water and towels, and about the change in subscription arrangement.
Hmmm, only offered water and towels. While witnesses offered scriptures. Trust me there are times when water and towels seem very loving to me. So these horrible preachers were offering comfort, while not expecting a bible study in return. How horrible.

spray paint "merry christmas" across the front of my old hall thursday night.
we were back in ky to visit my grandparents and we had to drive by my old hall while driving to a friend's house.
everyone's cars were parked neatly in a row outside (about 10 or 13 cars, it was always a small cong.).
OK what's going on. I see a group of evil apostates encouraging Shelly to break the law and THEN to post photos of it. Oh the shame of it all.
