A UNITED BROTHERHOOD !!!
by the max inhi everyone, ive never been on any forum before, of any nature, i came accross yours by accident and have been amazed at how uniform all our experiences are re our time spent as jw,s accross cultures, continents, ages and the sexes,(fitly united) but only in grief !!!
im from ediburgh, though it could be anywhere in the world, and as long as i was under the wts( loving umbrella) i could be assured of that life sucking negativity.i spent 9 years of my life allowing non enteties,human scrotums to suck the very marrow from my bones,i ended up devoid of any life, unwilling and unable to defend myself from constant harrassement and character assassination.
the anger has subsided and im ok,but like some of you still a bit disorientated.

I totally agree I've had similar experience as has many.It makes you think ; why so many people have the same problem with them if there is "nothing wrong " with them.But they will say it's everyone else with the problem.I might add the most bi-polar, self-righteous, craziest people I've ever met.

Crisis of Conscience, Chapter 3
by snowbird inthe chapter is entitled governing body, with a subheading entitled three monarchs.. in this chapter, ray franz thoroughly debunks the notion advanced by fred franz that wt leadership is modeled after a so-called 1st century governing body.. however, something else that got my attention was the fact that rutherford was referred to as chief by overseas jw's.. on page 70, there is a picture of the london bethel family.. the caption reads: "see 'em grinning?
the chief had just finished telling them something in the "colored language.".
now, this really grabbed my attention!

i left the borg in '97, i'm the youngest in my family of all dubs.
i was pretty much born-in as i believe i was around 2yrs old when my parents began their transition from independent thinkers to borgs.

Yes jgnat is right . We are all sinners too.So consider yourself called by Jesus. You've been (bean) brow beaten and tongue lashed enough. Pick yourself up by your bootstraps girl. It will get better.This is exactly why they are wrong . Why they are not true christians.Remember when Jesus talked to the woman at the well?Didn't she have a past? Woman you didn't molest annyone, you didn't murder, you didn't do any of that. Ok a couple of marriages failed its sad; it happens a lot these days, and guess what its done .You cant go back. "Keep moving forward"(meet the robinsons quote).

i think its great its a plan and a goal. thats the 1st step. you've taken enough of a beating for anything in the past. i think you;ll do fine but others will probably still give you grief no matter where you go. but probably less somewheres else.i have told people and have advised my friends to say this to those who would remind me stuff from the past; that is"i used to shit my diapers too are you gonna remind me of that" and that usually shuts them up . i think knowing that will make you feel better even if you dont tell them that.i was brought up a little bit rough a little bit from the streets so i can get away with it so it aint for everyone . but i got the same weaknesses as you all.

djeggnogg are you for real. do you actually believe the wbts has anything to do with jesus.barf. if so you are braking your own laws. next he didnt swear to follow jesus he swore to follow an organization.you try to matter of factly state that the bible or jesus or the truth have something to do with the wbts thats only your opinion here the opinion of men not jesus. i have never found a scripture telling me that the wbts would be the modern day spokesman. watchtower bible and tract society is never mentioned neither is jehovah's witnesses mentioned as his early church name.he doesnt need anymore bullying from you people.

Oops that came out wrong. I really got to proof read. I meant, they didn't proove anything . Rather they seem to always claim and throw out that some doctors back them, or how great an idea it is or it's safer from diseases.etc.but all the while missing the point.
