  i enjoyed englishman's post about americans vs europeans.

  i chose to start a new thread because i want to take the topic in another direction.. the usa is still a young nation and an enigma.

  the nation was created by european settlers who wanted to get away from things they did not like about europe, especially religious intolerance and inflexible governments, and have the opportunity to build a new future.

  Hey rutht, One thing that I like about the trinity issue is that our slavation does not depend on our belief or dis belief of it.

  I have read sscriptures that both prove and disprove the trinity, but I have not come to any conclusion as to which I believe. Personally I have always had a problem with trinity. I could never understand how, if Jesus was part of a trinity, why he would pray to himself.

  Another Elder is toast

  Everytime I see a post of one who was an Elder stepping down. I have deep hopes that it is Mr Dale. He to was P.O of the congragation I attended and before I left he had resigned as P.O. I hope his consience is what made him resign as he was one of the nicest people you would ever want to meet.
  Out of all the people in the hall in which I attended, he is the only one I really miss.

  rick the administrator of h20 posted a sad commentary yesterday, and i followed-up with a link to it here.

  he and others have wondered why his board is a non-entity these days, yet he cannot see the trees for the forest.

  well, that post of his has disappeared.

  Do not listen to those who curse you, they do not know you, and unless they have been in your shoes they should keep their mouth shut.

  I wish I had the words to give you comfort. I feel the pain you are going through just by reading the words you wrote.

  As for the reporter. I believe she did not respond because what you wrote to her hit the nail on the head. With your being sick you had no other choice but to stay there. I understand as I would have stayed too had I no place else to go.

  like many of you i dedicated many years of my life searching for the "true" faith or religion.. after researching and considering religion i came to the conclusion that there is not such.

  i decided to worship god in my own temple.
