  on a different thread, berylblue mentioned how, when comparing my 1st post to the present ones, there is an obvious change.

  i do agree that we all can grow and learn as time goes on in our lives.

  my question for today is,"have you changed in how you think or in your growth from a spiritual and /or emotional standpoint"?

  this question may not make too much sense.

  if a man creates a computer, using the best parts and software design with the intent of analyzing data accurately and reliably, would he also design it with the ability or freedom to 'crash' or spread viruses to other computers if it chose to?

  if a man trains a dog with the intent of being a family pet, would he also give it the knowledge to kill humans or other animals?

  If you are on about the REAL Christ, then he would be anoyed and probably tell them all off like he did with the Jewish leaders, but give them chance to turn around as he did back then, but he knows they wont. We all know religious leaders dont care about God and Christ, they just care about their power and control over others. They use the religion as a smokescreen to hide their real motives and actions.

  Actually, someone who hijacked his name would probably get something much worse than a talking to...

  Think about the lives lost....

  Think about the people hurt...

  Think about all the agony that people right here, RIGHT NOW have gone through with sexual abuse covered up.....

  I firmly believe that this talking to would be much much much worse than I would care to imagine....

  Yeah, thats precisely what religion has done throughout history. Religion hijacked his name, done all sorts in his name, hiding behind it, and well, unfortunately, given God and Christ a bad name which is precisely why religions were totally warned against in Revelation 13.

  i remember at a district convention in yankee stadium back in the 80's where the district overseer mentioned the possibility of one day being able to share the universe "with other creations of jehovah" as he put it.

  it definitely got everyone's attention because he even went so far as to say that perhaps ufos are a creation of jehovah, but we haven't been told of their purpose.

  when i heard that i nearly choked on my jw-hoagie.

  God created dinosaurs. Humans created UFO's. However I dont believe that earth is the only planet with life, after all JAH is Life, this universe is massive how could life be restricted to one single planet? Also, consider that on other planets they may not have rebelled and they are living out how it should have been here. Venus is hell.

  i will be backing former vermont gov howard dean to run in '04.

  my reason: clinton was quoted recently as saying that "strong and wrong always beats weak and right".

  i remember during the run up to election in 2000 watching the bush vs. gore debates and thinking..i know gore is smarter but he comes across as weaker in debate.

  I dont think what you said is scary, freaky or anything. It makes sense to me, although I am just a hypocrite and constantly ignore my conciense, for all I know it is Christ talking to me, but well, you know me.

  Covenants.... Good or Bad?

  neighborhood covenants, that is.. in the u.s., many neighborhoods have covenants or rules that govern what a home owner can or can't do with his/her property/home.

  this keeps some people from painting their house neon blue, or building a half-assed skate board park in their front yard.

  some covenants won't allow a child day care, or adult care facility, mainly because of the extra traffic they may bring.

  I finally saw this movie today, and apart from all the eye candy and fx, was unimpressed really up until the Architect dialogue. This was pure twisted genius. Talk about a twist in the plot, this is the twist to end all twists, where Neo isnt the saviour of humans, but the saviour of machines. All he has been doing is for their agenda and its all predetermined.

  Zion has been revealed to be fake..... that they are all STILL in the matrix, as was evidenced by Neo destroying the sentinels..... that it didnt matter what door Neo went through. If the Architect is indeed "satan" then he CANNOT be trusted. I expect that Agent Smith will have something to do with the fall of the Matrix, cos, as he revealed in the first one he hates it, and he mentioned something was different this time around in Reloaded. Something the Architect isnt aware of.

  In Revolutions I'm expecting to see PEOPLE controlling the machines that are controlling the people. Also I am expecting a bad ending, this trilogy so far has delivered the unexpected and everyone always expects a happy ending..... maybe for once the norm will be done away with.
