Moshe, I don't know of why the discrepancy, but I can assure you, morality or moral concepts of right and wrong, good and evil, exist in the Spanish language! To affirm the contrary is absurd and is a slap in the face for all Spanish-speaking people!

The true, unsung hero of the Bible....
by Unlearn inmy undisputed hero of the bible is known by several names, depending on who you talk to...devil, satan, lucifer, etc.. read it, and you'll find that he was the only one who really stood up for you.. he asserted that you could make decisions for yourself...and told you the very real truth that, just because the piece of meat in your chest stops thumping, you positively do not 'die'.. he was your hero.
he stood up to a daddy-maniac and said, 'just because you made us doesnt mean you have the right to tell us what to do.
i thought we were free?'.

It's funny, because Satan doesn't even say much in the Bible. He is quite silent, and yet all sorts of impieties are attributed to him.
Satan is just a scapegoat used to blame all bad and wrongdoing upon him. Your fornication, adultery, thievery, etc., have nothing to do with him and everything to do with you.
I think a stupid passage is the one in which Satan attempts to tempt Jesus. Jesus is practically God, and he is supposed to fall for giving an act of worship to Satan? Don't be ridiculous.

Is There Any Real Difference Between Elders & Priests?
by minimus ini see very little except that priests wear black..

Elders get confessed to, priests get confessed to.
Elders enjoy privileged information, priests enjoy privileged information.
Elders get orders from Bethel, priests get orders from Vatican.
Just what exactly am I missing here?

by Perry inthe original soft tissues, blood vessels, cells and blood components [shown above] in a supposed 65 million year old t. rex dinosaur published in 2005 shocked the secular community, but not literal bible believers.
the stench of rotting flesh could still be smelled.. the chart below is a list of all kinds of things that are supposed to be hundreds of millions of years old , yet the evidence is consistent with a literal biblical view of only thousands of years old.. .
here's a "still pink" supposed 350 million year old shrimp:.

Perry, what makes it impossible to have preservation for such prolonged periods? Are you just anxious to throw science out as garbage and preach your narrow view of history?

I'm sorry moshe, but I have to call bull on that article.
Right and wrong are aptly translated as el bien y el mal, and that is almost universally understood in the Spanish speaking community.
To imply that because a language doesn't have specific words to describe "right and wrong", that it therefore cannot know the concept of "right and wrong" is plain, flat-out stupid, and really this just smells of pseudo-science to me.
To see you identify with such a position..... tsk, tsk.

The TRUTH in a nutshell
by Glander insimple truth 1 partners help each other undress before sex.
however after sex, they always dress on their own.
moral of the story: in life, no one helps you once you're screwed.. simple truth 2 when a lady is pregnant, all her friends touch the stomach and saying "congrats".

Could you 'Wake Up Happy' if you were an active Witness, knowing what you know now? (A 2012 Convention invitation)
by ScenicViewer ina convention invitation.
i came home the other day and found an invitation to the upcoming district convention in my door.
i don't believe these are left in the doors of the general public, so a well-meaning witness must have been thinking of me, even though i have not been to the kh in about 7 years.. the leading question on the front immediately got my attention, and made my jaw drop a bit.. i thought i would ask the forum, .

If your idea of happiness is sitting in a chair for 8 hours falling asleep for 3 days, I think I'd rather pass.

My deepest condolences, BOTR. I know there is nothing that can truly alleviate your pain, but I will leave you with the positive attitude of Epicurus.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epicurus
He suffered from kidney stones, [2] to which he finally succumbed in 270 BCE [3] at the age of 72, and despite the prolonged pain involved, he wrote to Idomeneus:
I have written this letter to you on a happy day to me, which is also the last day of my life. For I have been attacked by a painful inability to urinate, and also dysentery, so violent that nothing can be added to the violence of my sufferings. But the cheerfulness of my mind, which comes from the recollection of all my philosophical contemplation, counterbalances all these afflictions. And I beg you to take care of the children of Metrodorus, in a manner worthy of the devotion shown by the young man to me, and to philosophy. [4]

Jehovah's Witnesses And The Paranormal
by Cold Steel ini understand that the jehovah's witnesses are paranoid when it comes to the paranormal.. how far do the roots of this paranoia go?
has anyone ever had any personal paranormal experiences or know of anyone who has (first hand)?.
and what are some of the more popular stories that get retold in jw circles?.
-

No, just many second hand accounts.
The only "unexplainable" experience I had didn't involve "demons". I'm still skeptical about it, but it was 1.) intense, 2.) similar to other accounts, so I won't discount it yet.
