  Baptismal Questions

  i was baptized june 1, 1985. thats the day they started using the new baptismal questions in their baptismal talk on the baptismal day to all the baptismal candidates.

  did any of you actually hear those questions they made you stand up to hear read?

  would any of us at that moment in time actually have said anything but a resounding "yes!!!

  I was baptized June 1, 1985. Thats the day they started using the NEW baptismal questions in their baptismal talk on the baptismal day to all the baptismal candidates. Did any of you actually HEAR those questions they made you stand up to hear read? Would any of us at that moment in time actually have said anything but a resounding "YES!!!" when asked those questions? I sure as hell dont recall what I was asked. They coulda said "Do you all solemnly swear to run nude through Central Park with a book bag throwing rose petals and tracts in the air as you go?" Id have said yes!

  This is what they ACTUALLY ASKED US from that point forward:

  1. On the basis of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, have you repented of your sin and dedicated yourself to Jehovah to do his will?

  2. Do you understand that your dedication and baptism identify you as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in association with God's spirit-directed organization?

  I shudder at my stupidity...and just where the hell are the Father Son and Holy Spirit here?

  moscow, may 30 (reuters) - a russian court has overturned a legal victory for the jehovah's witnesses which had prevented the liquidation of the group's moscow communities, russian news agencies reported on wednesday.

  the decision cancels out the jehovah's witnesses' triumph in february after a two-year courtroom battle, which focused on a 1997 law which forces faiths without a long history in russia to undergo a convoluted registration process.

  Im onto you BugOrbs... I have memorized the Revelation Climax and Climax again and again and..oh excuse me... and have in fact EATEN several of its pages to hide the evidence. Page 125 has an odd paragraph about the Society being able to TALK TO DEAD PEOPLE from the annointed class who are in heaven. I know its some kind of secret code, and I mean to BUST IT. Everybody knows they dont believe that...but then theres this picture of Christ with this DEMON FACE clearly in his extended palm that really has me baffled. I know Bethel has been infiltrated...must.........go...

  Akfuu...go to Acts 8. Read how the Eunuch was studying the SCRIPTURES when Philip joined with him in his chariot. (Does it say whether the Eunuch actually stopped the chariot first or did Phil do a hollywood stuntman thing and jump in from a tree overhanging the road to Damascus?) Philip asked him if he understood what he was reading, and the Eunuch who shouldnt have been driving and reading at the same time, but didnt yet have a cell phone, said he was pretty clueless. Philip said well, that scripture talks about Christ and Christ is HERE. DANG! Said the astonished Eunuch...and pointing excitedly at a nearby lake said "A body of water! What prevents me from getting baptized?" And he did.

  And that was the extent of his study and he became a disciple.

  Save yourself a loooooot of trouble honey. Pick up your Bible, start reading and enjoy letting God help you learn :)

  MOSCOW, May 30 (Reuters) - A Russian court has overturned a legal victory for the Jehovah's Witnesses which had prevented the liquidation of the group's Moscow communities, Russian news agencies reported on Wednesday.

  The decision cancels out the Jehovah's Witnesses' triumph in February after a two-year courtroom battle, which focused on a 1997 law which forces faiths without a long history in Russia to undergo a convoluted registration process.

  A Moscow court threw out a case brought by the city's northern district to shut down the group on the grounds it regularly broke up families, infringed individuals' rights and converted minors without parents' permission.

  But Wednesday's court verdict wiped out that decision, upholding a range of such allegations against the group.

  "It's a political case, directed against the rights of religious groups," RIA news agency quoted lawyers for the Jehovah's Witnesses as saying.

  The group, which says it has at least 120,000 active members in Russia, stands accused of breaking Russia's 1997 Law on Freedom of Conscience and Religious Association, which the United States and the Vatican have vehemently criticised.

  It approved Judaism, Buddhism, Islam and Christianity as Russia's traditional faiths, and threw other groups into limbo.

  Former U.S. President Bill Clinton stressed the importance of religious and other freedoms during a June 2000 summit with President Vladmimir Putin in Moscow.

  Russia's Orthodox church has rejected talk of religious oppression, saying the law is justified in stopping dangerous sects flooding the spiritual vacuum created by 70 years of Communist rule.

  My assignment came cleverly disguised as a renewal form in my AWAKE! issue dated June 31, 2001 which...I knew seemed odd. I am to infiltrate all Kingdom Halls in a 300 mile radius to my home base, putting laughing gas in their air conditioning and making the hall zero gravity so all arms will raise involuntarily towards the heavens when they sing. ( It also does things that Viagra cant do )

  They also leave them at donut shops, in the ad racks by Kmart doors, in the 24 hour gas stations, in doctors offices, barber shops..and occasionally have decorated the entire parking lot windshield collection with 3000 back issues under the wipers. They also sell them at garage sales, at malls, at airports and at trainstations.

  The list is adfreakinfinitum...arm yourself with a shop vac and a shredder.
