  before i begin, i want you to know i understand the difference between chemtrails and contrails, so lets leave those discussions behind, chemtrails exist.. what is the purpose of chemtrails ?

  if it was to artificially create clouds, why come to edinburgh ?

  for any of you who are unaware, 90% of the time its cloudy and rainy, so creating cloud cover, is a joke.

  My new Celestron 114MM scope comes in tomorrow. I am super excited. previously I just had an old $50 Meade I was using forever. It's gonna ROCK.

  Maybe some of you wisenheimers can tell this guy that its all in his head....

  Seeing as how he's barking at the moon bonkers, he needs a doctor to tell him that. But it IS all in his head.

  I have been watching the sky closely for the last six years and in that time I have not seen a hiatus of more than a few days no matter what season it is, so there goes that theory.

  Absolutely not. Show me your data. What days, how many supposed chem trails, how long did they linger, how you kept track to make sure you didn't mistake one for another when you went and took a nap, etc. You haven't proved anything.

  The proof is being found in everything from our lakes to the hoods of cars. If you choose to believe it's all bullshit, go right ahead. That's your prerogative.

  Absolutely it is. However, I choose to ask for data and, you know, actual evidence. Simply charter a plane to fly into a supposed chemtrail or two, collect some samples and analyze them at an unbiased reputable lab. That's not so hard.

  i want to discuss the concept of truth, as there is alot hiding behind the mere label.. .

  to start off with, is truth merely when we come to agreement, and stop questioning?

  Whatever phenomenon was causing contrails to linger abnormally and somehow producing aluminum oxide reflective particles, an assortment of pathogens and prescription sedatives since the mid-1990's has disappeared for at least the last six weeks in New York and everywhere else since early summer.

  Any ideas why?

  You have yet to prove they linger abnormally. Or that they contain alumium oxide particles, sedatives and whatever else. And, basic physics, everything you see is reflective. That's why you can see things, they are reflecting light.

  And it's called weather. The skies have been less cloudy in general. That happens a lot at the onset fall and cooler weather. Great time for amateur astronomy.

  There are two possibilities:

  A: The atmospheric properties have miraculously reverted back to their pre-1990's state.

  B. Whoever was spraying the chemtrails no longer has a reason to spray them.

  This is a false dichotomy.
