Hi BP . . . yeah it's just gone 4.00 am here. I'm up watchin telly with my eldest. The 5.5 rumbled through about 10.30 last night. That one 15 min (now 20) ago was 4.4 and pretty loud.
Ash cloud has stopped a lot of flights here . . . Quantas and Jetstar as well as most Internationals, but Air NZ continues to operate flying under 20,000 ft.

Just thought I'd "bump the drum" again . . . This latest activity started about 5 hours ago . . . with a 5.5 mag that shook for about a minute. The house hasn't stopped shaking since

after listening to my family members go on and on about the new light regarding the generation, coming home from the convention all ramped out because "the end is so close you can feel it, it's just around the corner", i finally realized it.. they'll never see it for what it is.
even if the organization goes down, they'll sink with that ship.
there is not a rational person that could swallow the new generation overlap teaching and really believe it.
The Armageddon habit is a hard one to break . . . especially when it's being mainlined through a drip.

we've agreed to compromise on our differences and support each other through the years we have left.. i'm seeing a psychiatrist today to deal with my difficulties that stem from a traumatic and tumultuous childhood.. he is willing to yield in his beliefs that a man should control everything and make all the decisions.. being a stubborn jamaican, i realize how hard that is for him.. we're going to renovate the house so that he has his own quarters.. that way, my boisterous g'kids won't work his nerves too badly.. just wanted to put it out there.. syl.

can this argument be used by religions like watch tower that often change the slant of their doctrinal interpretations to justify the change?.

Philosophically . . .
If absolute and unchangeable truth cannot be established by the scientific method. . . and be subject to rigorous testing and scrutiny in it's being established . . . how do we know where a viewpoint lies in relation to it? Or if indeed an alteration is moving closer to, or further away from, the point where absolute truth lies?
You might be able to wrap some material around that line . . .
i don't think it's a hard question as to why we need music .
for us it's a way to express the feelings we've got, the way we feel .
you feel love for everybody in the world .
