He has transmitted to them the promised holy spirit, with which spirit they are sealed and are given a token of what is to come, their heavenly inheritance.

how can you have holy spirit when you keep getting the dates wrong (1799 1874 -78 1925 etc)

wheres the signs for the watchtowers holy spirit? the bibles full of signs being given as proof .
signs all ways seem to be so out of fashion with the WTS

Just a side-point but reading this I wondered if they really meant that Jesus sends the Holy Spirit? Jesus has the power over the HS??? How contrary of them! Next thing you know they'll be refuting their anti-trinitarian views!!

i have have not been baptised for (reasons i dont wanna explain just now) so i was hanging on the edges as a unbaptised publisher (wordly assosciate as one sister liked to remind me) for 11 years and never saw the baptisum stuff . i really would like to see it ,does anyone you have a copy of the baptisum requirements and what you have to learn and say/agree to?

a while ago i saw posts about mediatorship and got a nagging feeling but i only now grasp the true meaning of what theyare saying.

This what did it for Mrs Ozzie and I think that many of the R&F don't realise it's part of "the Troof" that they're publishing! If they knew, i don't doubt they'd do as Mrs Ozzie did, say I have Jesus as my mediator so you (the WTS) can take a hike!

i told a lady i know who used to study about this and asked her if she had understood that she wasnt included with jesus ransom ..she was totaly horrified she had no idea that this si what it ment and she studid for a long time(before the 6 month limit rule ).before the 1975 incident scared her off .

lurk if you have access to a proclaimers book , look under mediator . i dont have one or i'd scan it in for you. but it too says that jesus isnt the mediator between man and god..he's the mediator between the faithful discreet slave and god. its an issue that really made me see that the wtbs is waaaaaay off base. candidlynuts

thanks for that offer candidly, i have got the proclaimers i will have a look and see what it says .i find it really hard to find anything in there as the dates and info are all over the place.

how come the wts preaches to be seperate from the world then gets money from nyserda ?.

you might think im over reacting ,but how come the authorities and buisnesss are satan one minute and a funder the next?

As a big business, it makes sense to join in to get funding for electric systems, or join the UN to get attention to their concerns around the world (we would call it political favors), etc.

this is so true i can see now how much like a company the WTS is

i hope an honest fearless documentary about the WTS is not to far away.

the watchtower award is listed at the sight below.its not a scandel but annoying.they certainly know hwo to sniff out the money and save there own purses.

well, we know the jw retoric about "peace and security.

does anyone here have insite on what the the bible is talking about with "...when they are announceing peace and security that sudden destruction will be instantly upon them..." .

yet the WTs does just that all thr time .they are doing the opposite fo what the apostels
a bad sign of org.
i had considered that peace and safety might just be a simple reference to the situation when he ends arrived...people not in expectation of anything and feeling safe.

Those plain statements (because they did not conform to the organizational "pattern" of interpretation) were/are depicted as distorted teachings giving evidence of "apostasy." How effed up are they to tell you, me or anyone that such basic and clear statements that contradict their teaching signify apostasy? But they do and they suck because of it. Corvin

Does this mean in when Jesus took power 1914 According to the WT) that all should have obeyed the WT or the annointed ones who were his mediators? Were these annointing ones expecting to be ruling the whole world? That is a chilling thought. Imagine department stores full of JW wear?
