  Just got a message from one of my JW friends ::roll my eyes::

  i had a friend in the borg that i love and miss (the only one i miss for real) she got married and because she begged me to atttend her wedding i showed up after a loooong time at the kh (that was october 2010, never went back!

  just for her i went that one time!

  well, even though i faded and have almost zero communication w the jws every once in a while we exchage emails, typicall "i miss you" "take care" and "how's your life" kind of stuff.. she is respectful of my decision and never asks to many questions, but i make sure i always let her know i am ok and happy... so, this past weekend i emailed her just to say hello, i check my email today and have this..... "i think about you all the time too free!!.

  Free!! I think I know you. Lol! ;) Anyway, yeah it's true people assume your life is in the gutter when you're out. My mom always asks me "Is everything okay?" and "No problems?" I always say "Nope!! Everything is better than ever!"

  I've gotta share this with y'all. Okay, my youtube user name is 23waystodie. I'm gonna copy and paste a convo I had with a kid named MrSmack1down. It's a comment thread on a video about JWs. It's a dumb video, but the argument I had on the comment thread was VERY interesting. It all started when I commented on an 11 year old JW comment from a girl called brittneyrox911.

  u ppl dont no wat ur missing, ur life is in danger if u dont listen 2 us. the bibles promises like the paradise is real and they will become reality soon like the prophesies bout the earthquakes, tornadoes etc, r happening right now. stop hiding like babies, y r u so scared? its not like we will kill u or something. is that all u can think of?....hide? really? im 11 years old and im sure of wat the bible says is true. ?

  • @brittneyrox911 Earthquakes, and tornadoes and Mother Nature being a total B!#$h makes it look? like we're living in the end times. But really, Nature has been a B!#$h since the beginning of time! It feels like it's happening more frequently now cause now we have News reports....by newspaper, internet, and by television. Back then we didn't have "news". So back then people were unaware. Now we are aware. So it feels like the end is near.......it's all an illusion.

    @MrSmack1down How exactly did I get "owned"? She posted a comment and I replied to her. She never replied back. How do I get "owned" by someone who hasn't replied yet?? Btw, 11 year olds and people like you who use the word "owned" shows that your religion is full of little kids and/or immature adults.

    @23waystosundaystoogefest You are a buffoon, the 11 year old makes more sense than your flawed reasoning as more media coverage does not negate the increase in frequency. The numbers tell the real story, goof. BTW, do I have to be? a JW to disagree with you?? Owned again!!

Maybe you should do some research instead of eating all the crap your parents, preacher, or that ancient fairy tale book tells you. Btw, JWs, Baptist, Mormons, Muslim....whatever wonderland you're in....it's all the same. It's all BS.

    @MrSmack1down Also, it's true natural disasters are increasing, but have you done your? research on why? Of course not. It's the over population of humans that is messing up the planet. We are a virus and we are increasing. The earth is getting a fever. It's getting warmer due to pollution. Do some reading on science for once.

    @MrSmack1down lol! I'm sorry but I have to keep burning you.....Here's yet another reason to kick you while you're down. As you put more and more people in harms way, you make a? disaster out of something that before was just a natural event. What does that mean? As population increases, we humans are forced to move to dangerous areas where natural disasters are common. Therefore, the more peoplein the world, the more deaths. It's common sense really. It's okay if you don't get it.

    @24WAYSTOBEASTOOGE mmmkaayyy, now we're getting somewhere. "it's true, natural disasters are increasing", good start. Granted more people in harms way, but does that cause the increase in incidents? Answer please?

    FYI, volcanoes have spewed more cO2 in the last 100 years than all of mankind? has. The oceans have burped up and processed more oil than mankind has ever spilled into it. The Earth goes thru cycles of heating and cooling, regardless of what man does. Keep drinking the Koolaid,

Like I said, the disasters seem to have increased because of the illusion created by the number of deaths and the news reports that exist at the click of a button...unlike 1,000 years ago. As for the volcanoes and oil, yes the earth pollutes itself and cleans itself. Add human pollution to natural pollution, and it becomes too much for the earth to handle.

  i was reading a thread on here that got me thinking.. what is the purpose of confession if not another method of mind control?

  back in ancient israel, confession was just this thing you did if you were a good jew.

  just like observing sabbath, fasting.. you get the point.

  my wife stood before me with some items in front of her.

  without a word, she emptied a large jar of mayonnaise and proceeded to fill the empty jar with rocks right to the top, rocks about 2" diameter, then asked me if the jar was full.

  i agreed that it was.. she then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them in to the jar.

  Yes, it's an over-used and old illustration that even as recent as last year it was still being used. Another over used phrase, was a joke that has been told in the spanish congregations time and time again by many different brothers: Basically when the brother told everyone to open their bibles, in that period of silence where everyone is looking for the text, the brother goes "Take your time guys, we're all gonna live forever afterall."

  A bit funny the first time....annoying the 1000th time.

  my strange neighbor

  a neighbor four doors south of me.

  the night before our trash pick up he send his sons out (20-30 year old) with their trash and fill up the neighbors trash cans.

  i was speechless when my next door neighbor told me this.

  I would take their trash back out of my trash can and place it on their door step. Preferably unbagged and scattered all over his porch.

  Association: Am i being lied to?

  i don't hesitate to bring up with the girl i study with, my criticisms of the religion, and one of those is the association.

  i keep reading on here that jw's don't make friends outside the cult, and this is what i used as an excuse for stepping further away from being baptized.

  she tells me it's not true, and they can have what ever friends they want.

  Take it from a 25 year member. It's a big fat lie. "You can do what you want"? If that was true, I'd still be in this religion. A lot of JWs will claim to their students that they are free to be friends with anyone, but once you're baptized the truth is revealed and it's too late to turn back. It sickens me that they will lie to their students to recruit members. Once you're baptized, you become a trophy to them. One they can show off and brag about saying "I converted him".
