My kids and several people at work loved it. My daughter made me sit down and watch it. She told me now mom your going to have to drop a hundred IQ points before you watch it, then you'll think it it funny. I tried to like it. I hated it and you'd have to tie me up to watch it again. I don't think I laughed I might of gotten a slight chuckle once or twice. Definitely a waste of a couple perfectly good hours.

My dad called me up yeterday to ask if he could put me on his blood card. This is bizarre. He just recently moved here and doesn't know very many people. I was puzzeled. I thought you only put witnesses on that. I guess you need two names on it and he only knows one other person at his hall. I think he just wanted to know how I feel. I told him if something happened to him I would back him up even though I don't believe in it. I know that is what he wants. I'm wondering though if push came to shove would I. He is almost 82. It is probably a mute point.

Had the book study (Daniel book) tonight.
by ithinkisee inman, i had to read at the book study tonight (which is still at my house btw).. this was the first of the real "meat" of the daniel book (spam more like it, actually).. anyways, for those of you that don't know i am trying to get up the nerve to explain to my wife what i have been learning.
i found tonight was a good night to make some comments in a non-threatening "book study" environment that she (hopefully) will remember.. this weeks book study lesson is posted here, by the way:.

How funny that you still have book study at your house. I was in the same position when I was finding out the real truth. I was soooooo releived when the brothers decided to move it out of my house. I worked full-time and my husband being a truck driver was not always home in time for meetings. My kids were teenagers so they had to make sure the house was in order sometimes I would come in late from work (I would volunteen to stay late because I didn't want to sit through the crap. I'd show up 20 mins late. The brothers came to me and said obviously it is a hardship for you to have bookstudy with your work load and stuff so we decided to move it to so and so's. It too a good 6 months for them to do it.

Christ and His second coming
by greendawn inall christian religions have always believed in the second coming of the christ, and if you also do, how do you imagine this second coming will be and how will it change the world?
.
what will be the fate of the jws when he returns given their grandiose, blasphemous claims about divine appointment and the way they abuse the dissenters?

This is a good question? I also have pondered this. I believe there will be a second coming. I also believe in the Rapture. It is not my place to judge who will and will not be raptured. I believe it will be all those who believe in Jesus Christ and are saved by him. The last part is where JW's may fall short. First they don't believe that Jesus is Lord they believe he is Jehovahs son and that he came to die for us. The bible teaches Jesus is Lord and is God in man's form. He came here to try to convince us how much he loves us and ultimately died for us. They believe in Jesus but really don't worship him and therefore I fear they will not be raptured. Theay also do not accept Jesus into their life and ask him to save them. They worship Jehovah. I feel bad for them because there are some really wonderful, devout people in the BORG and they are being mislead. But when all the Christians are Raptured and they are left behind they will have the chance to turn to him during the Great Tribulation, which they look forward to anyway. I'm personally glad I'm going to be up in heaven I don't really want to experience that and when I was a witness I always said that I hoped I died before it came because I didn't want to be here on earth when it happened.

by John Doe ini'm curious how many here were witnesses.
for those that were, what are your current religeous affiliations?
i'm still evolving, but currently i consider myself to be a cross between an agnostic and a deist.

Yes I am a Christian. I occasionally attend a Non-Denominational Christian church. I like the pastor and most of what he has to say. I don't think any one group has everything all right. Im ok with someone disagreeing with me and what I think the bible teaches. There are so many different thoughts who is right? I think it is most important to accept Jesus as your savior and after that all other beliefs that separate Christians are really trivial. When he comes I don't think first on his list is what Church did you belong to. I don't think he even cares if you go to church. He just wants you to believe in him and live your life accordingly.

Why does God let bad things happen. I heard the answer to this at church a few months ago. It has to be the most logical answer I've ever heard. It all boils down to free will. He gives us free will and the right to choose good or bad as demented as bad may be. He didn't set limits and he didn't say you have free will as long as you don't hurt anybody because that would truly not be free will. Man or Woman "A" has the right to choose to hurt someone or not hurt someone. The person they hurt if they choose to do the wrong thing will be hurt because "A" chooses to do something mean or bad. If God intervenes and doesn't allow the bad to happen or doesn't allow that person to choose to do the wrong thing. Than where is the free will he promised. Unfortunately we are victims of ourself. God is not to blame for bad things that happen, we humans are, we've chosen poorly and we continue to choose poorly. Impacting other people lives and hurting, sometimes killing others. He promises to make it right some day. We need to have faith that some how, he will reconcile all this. I honestly don't know how he will make all things right, but then I am not God.

If your mate, had an affair, what would you do ??? really, think it out ...
by run dont walk in.
toughest question anyone can ask, if the love of your life, and mate/wife/husband/boyfriend/girlfriend messed around on you, whether it be once or for years, how would you handle it and what would you do, think about it slowly and carefully.. wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy.. it's said that 50 % of marriages are affected by an affair, it's probaly alot higher.. did you notice any affairs in your congregation ???.
i look back now, and think, oh yeah there was.

I've been married for 21 years. If my husband cheated on me, I'm pretty sure it would be over. I couldn't trust him anymore. I know I would have an extremely hard time forgiving him. So I'm sure I would call it quits. If he is cheating on me, he really doesn't want to me married to me anyway. If I cheated on him I would expect the same treatment.

This was the thing that got me questioning everything. I was doing research on 1914 for a talk and thought I'd be studious and look up stuff on 607 BCE on the internet and everything just fell apart from there. It gave me the courage to look at sites like this and then I ordered Ray Franz's book and when I read that it was definitely all over.

One Lord (Jesus Christ), One Faith (Belief in Jesus Christ), One Baptism (Declaration of your Faith in Jesus Christ Religion is a Snare and a Racket!! (I've heard that somewhere before) Religion is a vehicle for man to make money. You have to have faith in Jesus Christ to be saved it's that simple. The bible doesn't say the word Religion does it.
