  Not intrested in Christmas

  .

  i'm just not interested in celebriating christmas.maybe the witnesses had that one right.. if i had children i would probably give presents , just so they don't feel left out , thought not having them myself did me no harm , maybe it made me stronger.but christmas is just one big fake pushed by big businessess, i am not their pawn to be played with.. ok you can have a good laught a few drinks and all that but all the while we are being taken advantage of by the comercial world .imagine the money they would lose if their was no christmas.. can't wait for that big turkey tomorrow though.

  Sleepy I feel the same way....although the lights are pretty....??

  My family for many years have a gift exchange day at our anniversaries.....

  Christmas just isn't about Christ !!!

  after being fired from a couple of jobs and while being unemployed i realized that i am much more than just a career person....many people get caught up in this.....many when they first meet you will ask, "what do you do" ?????.

  i think all of us are much more than just a working stiff.

  when i was young i thought man was meant to have multiple wifes/sex partners, now i see why you only need one!!!

  the problems we encounter are more than enough to keep me busy, i cant imagine why a person would desire more conflict and grief.. .

  I thought it was a way to get a discussion going with x-jw's, to get them to talk about monogamy as the best choice?

  I think it is the best in the long run.....but there are many Bible references to men with many wifes and as a young man this was an interesting alternate choice??

  Last week, Mr. Hooper said on a New York radio show that conservative religious leaders such as Mr. Robertson were "equivalent" to Osama bin Laden because they want to divide the world into a religious war. When asked whether Christian leaders would urge killing members of a different faith as bin Laden has done, Mr. Hooper said: "Given the right circumstance, these guys would do the same in the opposite direction."

  Yes, given the right attack on America I am certain that all would respond strongly??

  I agree that the Islamic group in this country is in full accord with what is going on in the rest of the Islamic world and bear watching closely.

  The Two Towers

  just saw this.. great movie.

  not as good as book, but about matches it roughly as good as fellowship matched the book.. gollum is class act - for those worried the little cgi creature wouldn't work, don't be!

  he looks great - and the voice acting is dead one.. won't say too much, as spoilers might ruin it for some, but you really, really should see the extended edition dvd of the fellowship before seeing this movie.

  The whole Lord of Rings epic....seems slow and not completely explained as it goes along....

  It just moves too slow for me....the battle scenes in this one were better and more interesting....the odd character that showed them the way was very interesting, but was difficult to hear what he was saying most of the time....

  This episode was better than others...I would give it three stars out of five.....

  I love all movies and gooooo tooooo much.....
