Elder and CO just dropped by....

i haven't been to a meeting in over a year, and as you know as soon as you stop attending meetings/fieldservice the "conditional" love becomes more apperant.

the coordinating elder starts off by saying how much he loves and misses me, etc.

i ask him, when was the last time you called or texted me?

Where does the Watchtower locate real life stories of "Re-activating Publisers" who fell of the local Kingdom Hall Radar? How many weak JWs did you see get re-activated from the "loving and tremendous effort put forward by Elders Slavin it"? I bet we would have more success finding a Red Leprachaun than locating real life loving stories of JWs!

The Circuit Overseer does have a slip that asks if he checked up on weak familes. Usually we would use that time to go after former high performing Elders who were stumbled after the BOE stabbed them in the back. He would want the Elders to apologize for their sins and the CO would use that crappy old line "If you feel flat faced in the parkinglot, would you wait for the curb to apologize"?

The one elder who really cared quit back in 1984, he currently rent's out his house to a brother on one of the videos somebody recorded of him. The Brother who was so loving, I think he died of a broken heart figuratively speaking!

i sent her a loving and forgiving message, and know she has no intention of answering me.

I know what you are going through, I have been dealing with this problem longer than you have and know it's a losing proposition asking self-righteous family to behave civilly. Don't take me wrong, I care about the friends on JWN and hate when JWs can play games with your heart, since the Watchtower robbed them of their hearts, your asking stones to have emotions. I hope I am wrong this time and your sister see's your goodness and think's for herself, I mean no disrespect to you. I wish I could share the amount of meetings we had with the friends in the back-room and how the elders would shake their heads and say "Yes, I agree JWs are goat-like when it comes to showing goodness to their family, we can't force them to take to you!" I gave that advice over and over again to soft-hearted people who wanted their brothers and fleshly JWs family to be kind to them, the elders know there is nothing we can do to make them behave!

Steve alway's provides excellent advise along with Jgnat and plenty others, their posts hit home!

Marriage Consummation - emailed question has me stumped

i received an email from a jw that got married, but the wife never had sex with him.

they were together for a period of years.

he told the elders, but they said there was nothing that could be done.

I agree with "designs" assessment, we had this topic come up with judicial committies, the Watchtower wrote us back saying it was "Adultery". Here's the flawed logic used by a traveling brother, when brother jones found his wife had sex with two other ministerial servants, he got drunk that night and she came in and gave him oral sex begging for mercy. The Meeting continued with our Circuit Overseer invovled in this case, he said "Did you really allow her to perform sex on you?" He said "I was drunk, she took advantage of me", CO and elders agreed the brother even though he was drunk has accepted his wife back and could not divorce her without getting disfellowhiped and he was not free to marry. How can we reason with beautiful logic only the Watchtower can provide?

She ended up cheating on this brother, she is currently working on her eight marriage (I swear she is on her eight marriage!) and he is single all screwed up after listening to the Watchtower's views of marriage and life counseling! Her Dad is on Facebook with her Mom having dinner with all these disfellowshiped friends, he was nasty about catching anyone talking to DF'ed people and he is on Facebook with a group of DF'ed people. Only in the Borg!

"Elders were never trained to handle marriage and family issues. DFing was the way to wash blood off the table. Some religions, like the SDA, have actual Pre-Marital counseling for couples and tragedies like this would never happen or be minimized.

They use the "Atomic Mushroom Cloud" to gather a crowd around their honey-carts, if we knew what they really offered in the past do you think we would have gotten stuck?

It's hurting me to read posts by members on JWN who are so desperate to connect with Jehovah's Witnesses who want nothing to do with them. Where does this leave you? What pride can we have if our soul is torn by individuals who are not concerned about our welfare but more about practicing righteousness before men? Why do we think we have to cram ourselves down people's throats who hate us? JW Family and friends are not the normal, often their worse than the World and it's because the Cult has disintigrated our already fragile concept of the Western Family. The Watchtower offer's nothing to the World, it's actually lighting fires under Eastern Religions making them grow! That's why the JWs want their people to return to India because Hinduism is trumping their hate filled religion!

Why do we feel the need to cram our views down people who are obviously done with us? The harder you try to push yourself, the harder she is going to avoid you and know she has control over you. The Witnesses who make the biggest impact are those who can move on with their lives instead of begging and pleading "Just be my friend, I am so broken hearted you are shunning me" is only going to add more pain to you and give your sister the power the Watchtower said they would have. The Watchtower claim's the shunning is going to force you to change you heart and return to the Cult because you miss the kindnes, love and compassion Witnesses offer, look's like your sister is winning this war.

Winning is having dignity you can hold your head up high instead of chasing down people who want nothing to do with you. Why do people surround themselves with others who treat them like shit, low self-esteem, a feeling of reminensing a past relationship that never existed or the challenge to reintagrate themselves in the Human Race, it's not easy making friends but it's better to keep your head held high instead of begging and pleading with calloused souls!

Who, who get's Shepherd Calls by their elders, most is done to inviduals who showed more promise than other Witnesses who had sub-par Field Service time. Investment hours of your elders is based on your former productivity, if you were a "Drain-O Witness", don't plan on seeing anyone other than another weak person who actually cared about you.

Why do the "strong Witnesses focus on being around the strong"? The same reason the Pharisees craved the adultation of other Pharisees, unless the Witness are seen doing something by other men and women, it's no fun to perform acts of charity. Blowing the trumphet, if the trumpet is blown you better make sure there are lots of Witnesses who can observe your religion.

Religion is the practice of serving God before mankind, Spirituality is the search of truth, trying to seek more truth without the aid of onlookers. How many times did you hear "The World Can See Us In Field Service", "They know where here even if they don't answer the door!" It's all about "they" and "them", not God and Jesus Christ, "the elders know we were in Field Service or the elders know we are sick" is justification before men, does that make sense? What did the elders do with all the information they collected from you, the elders based your past production on how often to check up on you if your not attending meetings for any period of time. Some elders are so incompetent, they will allow a Pioneer to go off the list, not check up on a former huge "shaker" who tilted their congregation hours big time, they allow this person to fade and never be seen cause they are too lazy!

hi all- haven't posted much lately but i wanted to check in and give an update on my fade.

all of the advice i've received here has been spot on so far!

phase i is complete- i'm completely inactive, no service or meetings in a few months.

No matter how many times I have experienced the "lowly ones" left to fend on their own, I can't understand why men who are lazy become elders. Don't worry about anyone checking up on you, one commonality is nobody at your Kingdom Hall really cares truly about your plight. The MLM is based off your production and volume, since most Circuit Overseers are inculcated in the Elders minds who to look for, your not on their target-zone.

The Organization has been trending towards avoiding weaker members because they might infect like you "Resident Evil", the statistics pulled out of the ass of the Organization claim "One Weak JW can destroy 5 Strong JWs", so your safe to proceed because their think you have the T-Virus.

Phase 2 is going to prove that "no love ever existed in the Kingdom Hall", the "I will die for you" is, was a song based by the artist formerly "known as Prince", no JW is going to demonstrate true love!

Theocratic Warfare, it's a fact most individuals attracted to a Cult are going to scan pass by their omissions, the question was rigged or planted! If JWs were truly honest, the question should have been written, "Do Jehovah's Witnesses practice Shunning of Family Members not in "good standing" with the Watchtower Organization?"

The lies keep compounding like a High Interest environment, JWism is the worst at behaving like humans, using Shunning to pretend their religion has some Christianity left.. I have lived a life of watching Witnesses shun each other because somebody decided to stand up to the fifth-grade educated elders and make a stand. JW Elders on the Body of Elders hating, shunning each family for decades, this is the real JWism that stand's out in my mind. Elderettes hurting innocent Sisters because the Sister decides she can think on her own and refuses to obey the cult members!
