this post is not to criticize wts but to open honest discussion among mature followers of christ.. there has been much controversy around the wts doctrine regarding the arch angel michael.
as many are aware, wts believe that jesus in his pre-human existence was michael , gods first born.

He's Trying to get me to come back to the fold...by admitting the faults of the Watchtower
by PYRAMIDSCHEME inmy firend (who is an elder) recently sent the email below trying to get me to come back.
he freely admits the faults of the wt and even goes on to say that even if they did not have gods holy spirit, he felt they would still have gods blessing as the one true religion.
i thought i would get your thoughts on this as it really is (sadly) delusional.

You should ask him if he has ever spoken to an apostate, when he says no, ask him how he knows what they believe think and say....
He will reply I know via the society... then ask if he thinks the society ever talk to and engage with apostates...?

I'm sure in the literature they give an example of working as a secretary for a doctor and they say this may be a conflict if you are a JW. They give an E.g. if another JW, a patient was to ask for an abortion etc then you have to break the law to inform the eldres due to confidentiality agreements.
They sew the seed of loyalty with no care for the PERSON and no regard for law, no regard for confidentiality. Where are the scriptures that promote this terrible behaviour ?

i am a regular pioneer in my cong reading crisis of conscience.here goes...
by MsGrowingGirl20 ini'm on page 90 right now...the info is definitely new and gives me a totally diff view as to how i used to think of faithful and discreet slave.
i was thoroughly disgusted with the way the brothers handled the oral sex and leadership problem and the insight on the scriptures book...... still have alot of questions though.
