Gay MS??

all of my family expect for one aunt, who had left but not disfellowedshiped thankly, are in jw.
my father is an elder and so is my grandfather.

A certain young man said to a JW, "I would love to be a JW, but I am a homosexual, and homosexuals cannot become JWs." The JW replied, "You might be surprised how many JWs *are* homosexual. You see, the issue is not one's sexual orientation. The issue is whether or not one will obey God's admonition to 'flee from fornication.' "
All humans are sinners and prone to sinful conduct. God does not discriminate between heterosexuals and homosexuals. All must flee from fornication in order to remain chaste. I personally know quite a few non-JW homosexuals who have chosen to remain chaste by not practicing fornication. This issue is not unique to JWs.

Hey, SirleyW, since when is expressing gratitude for one's God-given abilities the sole right of an active JW? I admire anyone who acknowledges God and shows gratitude to the One who made all things possible for those who apply themselves. You sound like an *exemplary* JW, which is why I am glad to be a former JW.

Depression & natural ways to deal with it
by love2Bworldly ini was on prozac for about 10 years, and finally went off all meds about 18 months ago.
the prozac was causing me to have manic episodes, so they added a bipolar medicine as well as a sleep aid, and the bipolar medicine made me dizzy & nauseaus.
so now i work really hard at exercising regularly, i take a lot of natural supplements including natural lithium & megadoses of omega upon advice of a homeopathic doctor.

i've come across the same ones in america that i've heard in australia, and they pass from legend to myth and finally reality as quoted from the platform.

In 1974 a JW woman I knew came home after attending a DC in Hawaii telling a tale about a group of JWs who went to see entertainer Trini Lopez in concert. At one point during his performance, Lopez reportedly asked if any JWs who were present to stand and, when they stood, he began singing the American national anthem. Another JW woman I knew burned all of her Trini Lopez records after hearing this story.
In 1980, I began hearing the very same story being circulated among JWs but this time it was concerning John Denver. I was in a car group with a CO (the late Joe Bellezza) who had served in Colorado and who had met John Denver through JWs who were employed by him. When someone in the car related the story about Denver, the CO became enraged and practically yelled, "You have just slandered a good man who admires JWs and prefers to employ them when possible!"
