Hi our son used to have continual ear infections , and was always prescribed ant-biotics , what my wife found out about was anti-biotics are a pretyy blunt instrument to deal with infections they wipe out GOOD as well as BAD bugs in your system and so your imune system is weakened by constant use of them . we were recommended to allways take natural LIVE yoghurt whenever we were on anti-biotics as this replaces the good bugs in your gut which are killed off with the anti-biotics . give it a try it can,t do any harm and can only do you good . Medical question re: immune system, viruses, etc.
by cruzanheart inalright, all you smart people out there, help me out with this one: jackson (our 7-year-old) has tons of allergies, eczema, and occasional asthma.
in the past year or two it appears that he has become very susceptible to viruses.
a year and a half ago he got what the doctor diagnosed as a sinus infection and he was put on antibiotics.

As a witness how many could not remember your child's date of birth
by rekless ini had five kids and my wife remembered every ones dob, but i never did learn.
the most embarrassing moment was when i had to take my son to the doctors.
and standing in front of the office i had to asked him how old he was and what was his birthday.

Hi i don't often post here although i have been visiting the site since I left the WT some 8 years ago after being in for 13 years . But what never ceases to amaze me is how quick the absolute anger , / hate towards anything JW can re surface in me . only last week i was visiting my mum who is still a JW and because she had a sister round to share a meal & the conversation soon got round to the "TRUTH" i totally lost it once again !!even though i promised myself last time that it would be "the last time" which was over 1 year ago , it frightens me the emotions that can re-surface after all this time , and i hate myself for it !! i am seriously considering getting some counselling even though i hate that sort of thing anyone else in the same position?? please help me out!!

by kls inwith the un on the tv all the time my husband is just stuck to it waiting for jw prophesis to come true it is so sick , you can just see the mind minulipulation going on in his head.i have been reading about the un and the watchtower in threads and in freeminds , i was not surprised but very hopeful that this maybe what i need to finally get my husband to see the sickness of this cult.i printed out the photocopy on freeminds and showed it to him ,also everyday he reads the dailytext thats supposed to have bible verses for each day, i compared his text with the bible and found many differences and each text ends with the wt page and yr this verse was in.well i confronted him and holy crap he went nuts , screaming , it's all lies that is an apostate sight, anyone can print anything about us.i told him i could send a letter to the un for conformation, well that did it he threw a cup and smashed it and looked crazed.you would think after all these yrs of him being in a cult i could accept it , but i can,t ,i know what it is and it makes me sick , i am starting to believe these sick asses are going to win, one way or another i will get away from this.
the despise for this cult grows by the minute.
the only thing keeping me sane is all of you , i feel very cared for here ,you all can think for yourselves and say how you feel, i think i know all of you more then my husband of 29yrs.

Hi there I really feel for you but at the same time I was in that sistuation .... as a husband some 18 years ago and I have to say i still feel the grip of the WT even now!! because the society builds the male of the partnership up into the MOST responsible and i n control person then it is VERY hard indeed to break free , so please take it easy with your husband / mate he may find it much hsrder than you to let go because of the "responsibility" he feels he has for you . just take it one step at a time ...I wish you love and good fortune in your future XXX MIkey G.

She's Leaving Home..Bye Bye..

hi English had the same situation last september with our daughter 18 yrs old , my advice ... just grit your teath and smile they have to find their own way and they will find that all the sooner without being TOLD what to do... my daughter and i now get along a whole lot better than when she was living at home and i think she is a lot more mature ! she knows that her mother and i are still there if she really needs us and she is doing what all of US are doing "LEARNING HOW TO BE HUMAN BEINGS IN THIS CRAZY WORLD" don't worry just give her enough slack and she wont go too far away. Hi Britty That must have been hard to take from your sister , but keep remembering YOU ARE FREE!!! man from the Borg, I just got back in touch with my cousin who is gay , and we just had a fantastic xmas he came to our house (the first time any of our family have got together for the "good ole pagan piss-up for about 25years!!)and we now talk regularly and our kids regard him as family so keep on trying and look to the future .

Glasto-Aposto-Fest
by Abaddon ina few days ago the license for glastonbury 2002 was granted.. for those that don't know, glastonbury is a music and art fesitval in the heart of the english countryside.
about 100,000 people, music from big names like rem and radiohead, all the way down to small folk bands (there are dozens of stages), including a dedicated world/jazz music stage, hundreds of stalls selling all sorts of food and trinkets, a circus, a comedy tent, a cinema tent, a whole section dedicated to alternative/green technologies (solar-powered internet cafe?
) and new age what-have-you... you camp in tents whilst you're there, and the only real downside is the toilets, unless it rains.... think of a well organised woodstock that gives huge amounts to charities.

Hi I went to Glasto for the first time in 2000 ( took my son and daughter but didn't see them for the whole weekend . Apart from the Friday night , getting settled in the dark and the Mud ... the rest of the weekend was suberb!! even ROLF HARRIS!! I heard a rumour that Pink Floyd were going to play this year if thats so then I'll definately see you there !!
