  My Saturday Experience @ NY District Convention

  my congregation (soon to be 'ex'-congregation) is assigned to veteran's stadium (that will be held next week and then again on the last weekend of july.

  i have made it my resolve to make this year, 2002, my final district convention.

  since it will be my last one, i decided not to go to the hot-a$$ veteran's stadium!

  hi bill............. so...... you have the most qualified victims coming to your site........and you give them to attorneys who sue for only................ $ 50.000?.....................as in the case of heidi meyer............. and she has to go through hell ......"again"......and be ridiculed in court, and made to expose her most private sensitive issues on how she got molested........ for a lousey $50,000?............

  JWs Assigned to Fetch Lost Sheep Here?

  i have been pondering the whys of jws who regularly, and not-so regularly post to the board.

  the possibility then struck me that maybe they are assigned--have special dispensation--to associate here in order to retrieve any "misguided" or "lost" sheep and bring them back into their fold.

  or are they, thenselves, on the edge, wanting the freedom we now have?

  we parted ways on a sour note because you couldn't talk me into going back to being a jw.

  i have really enjoyed getting to know so many of you.

  don't consider this a permanent goodbye, as i'll most likely stop back every now and again to see how you are faring.

  can they go to friend's bar-b-ques?

  is it ok if they go to a parade or firework display?
