Russellites ----> Bible Students ----> Jehovah's Witnesses
by Wild_Thing inin my experience, the jws always seemed to shy away from much association from the term "russellites".
most are wiling to accept that bible students took on the name jehovah's witnesses, but they seem to disavow much association with the term "russellites".. is this perception true?
does anyone know if there is anything in their literature after 1931 where they admit they are the same group as the russellites?

I came here three years ago for support and to make friends
by KateWild inthis site is such a great and valuable resource and simon is to be commended for running it for so long.
when i first came i was in such a bad state and really needed support and friendship.
so many posters commented on my threads and showed genuine care some are real life friends, some are facebook friends, some i talk to on the phone and some are forum friends.. i have just realised though that everyone online is not your friend.

outcome: confirmation denied, because second arbitration lacked a contract basis or foundation because the first arbitration dissolved the contract, the award was null, void, and unenforceable, and equitable estoppel applied to preclude plaintiff from denying the committee decision.. .

The Society is Upset: R&F Not Following the Recommended Lodging List
by SirNose586 inan elder read a letter last night, and i practically giggled through the whole thing.
his poorly manufactured gravitas was most amusing, given the ludicrous content of the letter.. it seems the society is pissed that the friends aren't choosing the "recommended lodging" when going to conventions.
i remembered two important details about the letter.
