note: although i wrote this many years before he died, it was the reading of crisis of conscience that inspired this poem and it is to the memory of raymond franz that i dedicate it and to all those both within and without the organization that desire change and that are working towards it.. "prometheus among us".

defendant argued against confirmation because a prior arbitration award in his favor rendered the arbitrators' award void, and an estoppel defense applied.

outcome: confirmation denied, because second arbitration lacked a contract basis or foundation because the first arbitration dissolved the contract, the award was null, void, and unenforceable, and equitable estoppel applied to preclude plaintiff from denying the committee decision.. .

Documentary on cult The Family (on Cinemax today)

i havent been on jwd in ages so i apologize if this topic has been mentioned already.. there's a new documentary on premiering on cinemax tonight that is on the family cult..i was wondering if anyone plans ot watch and will be interested in posting comments later.... hope all is well with everyone,.

i probably missed any of the reviews of the knocking documentary if they were posted on jwd.

i got my copies today and watched the main film and some of the bonus features.. probably a lot could be said about the bonus feature info but i will just confine my comments to the documentary in this post.. overall impressions:.

it's rather "ho-hum" as far as a documentary film goes.
