  The Watchtower says that all who want to understand the Bible should recognize that the" greatly diversified wisdom of God "can only be known through the channel of communication of the Lord, the faithful and discreet slave." (John 6:68.)

  If anyone have doubts, it should not seek information from mundane sources, but in WT publications. Now I wonder, if only you can clarify doubts through FDS publications, what the hell were there doing as NGOs within the UN just to have access to their worldly library? (please forgive my English, isn't my first language)

  ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.

  waaaaay back when these words were written an embarassing awareness of delay was in the air among christians.. shortly after jesus was executed the story was circulated that he arose from the dead and was witnessed by a great many people.. but, jesus (it was said) went up to his father in heaven and would soon return.. time passed.. more time passed.. ....and still more time passed without jesus coming back.. the idea that deliverance was "near" began to make believers squirm with discomfort.. instead of standing around waiting, enduring persecution and praying constantly for reward....a new task emerged for christians to take.

  Does the Issue of Universal Sovereignty make sense to you as an explanation for evil?

  it used to for me, and now it doesn't.. i'm not sure how i was able to accept that argument now that i don't, but perhaps it was connected with my increasing compassion for people and their personal suffering as i've grown older.. now it seems like a sick excuse.

  more like a bar-bet with satan and all of creation suffers.. i read paul's words and he has no rejoiner except to say in effect "sucks to be a vessel of wrath...glad i'm not one, but who are you to complain anyway, huh?

  To me, Universal Sovereignty, as taught by the WT, would makes sense only if God had never executed anyone for Divine Judgement, as in Sodom and Gomorrah, the Flood, the rebellious Israelites in the wilderness, ect.

  From these facts have already spent thousands of years and God did not allow these people for millennia to realize His Sovereignty. Simply executed them. So why humanity has had to endure so many millennia of evil without God's intervention put the excuse of sovereignty, when there are examples of divine intervention to eliminate evil in the past? Sorry for my English.

  Dumb ass family moved in next door with autistic kid JEHOOVER HELP!

  first off i have no problem with the kid......his mum though is a dumb sh#t country trash kinda gal, just moved in.

  right now i'm in my bedroom being blasted by 80's music.

  she put a stereo in her tin shed which is next to our bedrooms, so her autistic kid can play loud music...or should i say, same f#cking song over and over again.

  I was surprised to see how people are so insensitive. I am a father of a 17 year old boy with severe autism. Although few people are able to use empathy, only those who have children with this disability know the challenges, efforts, dedication and above all, love needed to care for them. How cruel can become some due to their ignorance. I would say more, but my English is limited and I lack words to express what I feel with this entry.

  When I was 5 had a shopping bag in my closset with canned food ready for the GT, just grab it and run. Now I'm 44 and 3rd generation JW. The only sure thing I have in my near future is DEAD!!! The sad thing is that my young adult daughter is the 4th generation of JW's and she is bittered because she knows this religion is BS, but we can't leave because my parents. (sorry for grammar errors, English is not my first language)
